Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan sejauh mana pengaruh partisipasi dan keterikatan terhadap dampak pariwisata dan dukungan masyarakat. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan teknik accidental sampling kepada 200 masyarakat lokal Pulau Pahawang, Lampung pada bulan November 2019. Proses analisis data menggunakan metode partial least square – structural equation model (PLS-SEM) dengan variabel partisipasi masyarakat dan keterikatan masyarakat sebagai variabel eksogen dan variabel dampak positif, dampak negatif serta dukungan masyarakat sebagai variabel endogen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang kuat antara partisipasi masyarakat dan keterikatan terhadap dampak positif dan dukungan masyarakat serta dampak positif terhadap dukungan masyarakat di Pulau Pahawang, Lampung. Hasill penelitian juga membuktikan tidak ada pengaruhnya antara partisipasi masyarakat dengan dampak negatif serta dampak negatif terhadap dukungan masyarakat. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh negatif keterikatan masyarakat dengan dampak negatif pariwisata di Pulau Pahawang, Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan temuan untuk menyarankan implikasi kritis yang perlu dipertimbangkan pemerintah daerah ketika mengembangkan pariwisata. Kata kunci: partisipasi masyarakat, keterikatan masyarakat, dampak pariwisata, dukungan masyarakat, sustainable community tourism. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the extent of the influence of community participation and community attachment to the impact of tourism and support. Data is collected through the spread of questionnaires by accidental sampling techniques to the 200 local communities of the Pahawang island, Lampung in November 2019. The process of analyzing data uses the method of partial least square - structural equation model (PLS-SEM) with community-participation variables and community attachment as exogenous variables and positive impact variables, negative impact and community support as endogenous variables. Research shows a strong influence between community participation and attachment to positive impact and community support and positive impact on community support on the island of Pahawang island, Lampung. Research also proves there is no effect between community participation and negative impact and negative impact on community support. Studies, in turn, indicate a negative impact of community attachment to the negative effects of tourism on the island of Pahawang island, Lampung. The study used findings to suggest critical implications that local governments should consider while developing tourism.
