Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Implementasi Strategi Pembelajaran Intertekstual pada Materi Sistem Koloid SMA Kelas XI”, bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai keterlaksanaan implementasi strategi pembelajaran intertekstual pada materi sistem koloid serta mengetahui pengaruhnya pada peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pra-eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest and posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA sebanyak 28 orang pada salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Implementasi strategi pembelajaran intertekstual pada materi sistem koloid mencakup kegiatan pembelajaran, tanggapan guru dan siswa, serta kendala-kendala yang dialami selama proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan mempertautkan tiga level representasi kimia, yaitu level makroskopik, sub-mikroskopik, dan simbolik pada setiap konsep materi. Level makroskopik dimunculkan melalui demonstrasi, video, atau gambar. Siswa dibimbing untuk memahami konsep pada level sub-mikroskopik melalui tanya jawab dan diskusi yang dibantu dengan animasi yang ditampilkan pada level simbolik. Secara umum pembelajaran ini mendapat respon positif, baik dari guru maupun dari siswa. Kendala-kendala yang dialami dalam proses pembelajaran lebih mengarah pada kecilnya ukuran gambar, animasi, atau video yang ditampilkan dalam media serta pengkondisian/penguasaan kelas yang kurang optimal oleh peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, pembelajaran ini berdampak pada peningkatan penguasaan konsep. Peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa tergolong pada peningkatan tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 72,77%. Kata Kunci:Strategi Pembelajaran Intertekstual, Representasi Kimia, Sistem Koloid. This research has an aims to get information about The Intertextual Learning Strategy Implementation in The Material of Grade XI Senior High School, Colloidal System, and also to know about the influence of the learning strategy implementation to the concept mastery after it was implemened. The method that was used in this research is Pre-Experiment method with One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The subjects of this research were 28 (twenty eight) XI grade students of one State Senior High school in Bandung. The intertextual learning strategy implementation in the colloidal system material, covers the teaching and learning process, teacher’s and student’s opinions, also the obstacles during the teaching and learning process. The teaching and learning process was done by connecting three levels of chemical representations i.e macroscopic, sub-microscopic, and symbolic level on each concept. The macroscopic level emerged through demonstration, video experiment, or pictures. The students were guided to understand the concept in the submicroscopic level through questioning and discussion, helped by the animation that shown at the simbolyc level. Generally, this teaching and learning process has got positive response from the students and also teacher. The obstacles occured during the teaching and learning process were more about the unclear teaching and learning media, and conditioning of a class. Based on the results of the analysis, this teaching and learning process impacts the students’ concept mastery. The enhancement of student’ concept mastery is classified as high enhancement with the average N-Gain is 72,77%. Keywords: Intertextual Learning Strategy, Chemical Representations, Colloidal System
