Abstract

Terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan meningkatnya partisipasi olahraga seperti fasilitas olahraga dan faktor sosio-ekonomi. Namun, faktor tersebut belum dapat dioptimalkan sebagaimana mestinya mengingat partisipasi olahraga yang tergolong rendah di Indonesia. Sehingga, penelitian ini berfokus pada kajian untuk mengetahui hubungan dari ketersediaan fasilitas olahraga dan faktor sosio-ekonomi dengan angka partisipasi masyarakat dalam berolahraga. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari situs resmi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) yaitu www.bps.go.id. Adapun variabel independen dalam penelitian ini yaitu fasilitas olahraga (X1) dan faktor sosio-ekonomi (X2) yang dijelaskan oleh pengeluaran rumah tangga untuk kebutuhan makan, kondisi jalan baik, status partisipasi sekolah dan rumah tangga yang memiliki akses internet. Sedangkan variabel dependen yaitu Angka Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Berolahraga (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto dan diolah menggunakan software SPSS versi 25 dengan menggunakan Analisis Korelasi Pearson dan Regresi Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, secara parsial terdapat hubungan antara setiap variabel independen dengan variabel dependen kecuali variabel status partisipasi sekolah. Secara stimultan, terdapat hubungan yang positif antara ketersediaan fasilitas olahraga dan faktor sosio-ekonomi dengan angka partisipasi masyarakat dalam berolahraga. Berbagai faktor harus dapat dipertimbangkan dan dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam berolahraga sehingga penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai rujukan bagi pemangku kebijakan dalam merencanakan pembangunan dan merancang kebijakan olahraga khususnya dalam meningkatkan angka partisipasi masyarakat dalam berolahraga di Indonesia. RELATIONSHIP OF AVAILABILITY OF SPORT FACILITIES AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC FACTORS WITH THE NUMBER OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN SPORT There are several factors that lead to increased sports participation, such as sports facilities and socio-economic factors. However, these factors have not been able to be optimized properly considering the relatively low sports participation in Indonesia. Thus, this study focuses on studies to determine the relationship between the availability of sports facilities and socio-economic factors with the community participation rate in sports. The data used is secondary data obtained from the official website of Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), namely www.bps.go.id. The independent variables in this study are sports facilities (X1), sosio-economic factors (X2) which are explained by household expenditures for food needs, good road conditions, school participation status and households with internet access and the dependent variable is the Participation Rate Community in Sports (Y). This study used the ex post facto method and was processed using SPSS version 25 software using Pearson Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression. The results showed that partially there was a relationship between all independent variables and the dependent variable except for the school participation status variable. Simultaneously, there is a positive relationship between the availability of sports facilities and socio-economic factors with the community participation rate in sports. Various factors must be considered and optimized to increase public participation in sports so that this research is expected to be used as a reference for policy makers in planning development and designing sports policies, especially in increasing the number of community participation in sports in Indonesia.
