Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan komposisi soal-soal pada buku teks Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) kelas IX (Sembilan) Sekolah Menengah Pertama, terbitan Pusat Kurikulum Perbukuan, Edisi Revisi Tahun 2018. Analisis yang dilakukan didasarkan oleh Revisi Taksonomi Bloom oleh Lorin W. Anderson dan David R. Krathwohl yang membagi pengetahuan dan proses kognitif ke dalam dua dimensi yang berbeda. Penelitian analisis kedua dimensi ini masih jarang dilakukan, khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS di jenjang SMP atau sederajat. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan ialah deksriptif kualitatif . Subjek penelitian ini yakni soal-soal Uji Kompetensi pada akhir setiap bab yang terdiri dari soal-soal pilihan ganda dan esai. Total soal yang dianalisis ialah sebanyak empat puluh butir pilihan ganda dan dua puluh lima butir esai yang tersebar di empat bab pada buku. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ditemukan beragam tingkatan soal dari dimensi proses kognitif terdiri dari 20 soal C1 (mengingat), 20 soal C2 (memahami), 10 soal C4 (menganalisis), 4 soal C5 (mengevaluasi), dan 1 soal C6 (mencipta) serta dimensi pengetahuan terdiri dari 22 soal T1 (faktual), 34 soal T2 (konseptual), dan 9 soal T4 (metakognitif). Adapun soal pada tingkat C3 (menerapkan atau mengaplikasikan) maupun tipe pengetahuan T3 (prosedural) tidak ditemukan pada soal uji kompetensi yang diteliti. Padahal pengetahuan faktual, konseptual, dan prosedural tertulis dalam kompetensi inti pengetahuan Kurikulum 2013 IPS SMP sebagai tipe pengetahuan yang perlu dikuasai oleh peserta didik. Oleh karena itu jenis pengetahuan prosedural meskipun tidak dapat ditemui pada soal uji kompetensi, dapat ditemukan di komponen aktivitas kelompok pada buku yang diteliti. This study aims to depict the composition of competency tests in the 9th Grade Junior High School Social Studies textbook, published by the Center for Bookkeeping Curriculum, 2018 Revised Edition. The analysis based on the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy by Anderson and Krathwohl who divide knowledge and cognitive processes into two different dimensions. Research on the analysis of these two dimensions is still rarely carried out, especially in social studies subjects at the junior high school level. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive. The subject of this research is Competency Test questions at the end of each chapter which consists of multiple choice and essays. The total questions analyzed were as many as forty multiple choice items and twenty five essays spread over four chapters in the book. The results were found that various levels of questions from the cognitive process dimension consisted of 20 items of C1 (remembering), 20 items of C2 (understanding), 10 items of C4 (analyze), 4 items of C5 (evaluate), and 1 item of C6 (create) and The knowledge dimension consists of 22 items of T1 (factual), 34 items of T2 (conceptual), and 9 items of T4 (metacognitive). The questions at the C3 level (applying) and the type of T3 knowledge (procedural) were not found in the book. In fact, factual, conceptual, and procedural knowledge is written in the core competencies of the curriculum as a type of knowledge that students need to mastered. Therefore this type of procedural, although it cannot be found in competency test questions, can be found in the group activity component of the book.
