Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rata-rata umur mulai merokok secara nasional yaitu 17,6 tahun dan prevalensi penduduk yang merokok setiap hari secara nasional adalah 28,2% serta perokok dalam rumah secara nasional sebesar 76,6 %. Merokok dapat menyebabkan terjadinya beberapa dampak penyakit seperti penyakit kanker, penyakit kardiovaskuler, penyakit pernafasan, dan penyakit tuberculosis. Rumusan masalah yang diajukan yaitu bagaimana gambaran sikap remaja di kelas X dan XI tentang bahaya merokok di SMK Pakuan Lembang. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran sikap remaja di kelas X dan XI tentang bahaya merokok di SMK Pakuan Lembang. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metodologi penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik sampel pengambilan random sampling. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 169 siswa dengan sampel 119 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket skala sikap. Kesimpulannya bahwa remaja di kelas X dan XI SMK Pakuan Lembang sebagian besar bersikap positif yaitu dengan persentase 60,19%. Saran bagi guru diharapkan senantiasa mendorong para siswanya dalam meningkatkan sikap yang positif tentang bahaya merokok sejak dini. Smoking can cause several diseases such as the impact of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, and tuberculosis. Proposed formulation of the problem is how the image of attitude adolescent in class X and XI of the dangers smoking in SMK PakuanLembang. The purpose of this research is to describe the attitude of adolescent in class X and XI about the dangers of smoking in SMK PakuanLembang. The methodology used is descriptive research by taking samples of random sampling technique. The study population totaled 169 students with a sample of 119 students. Data collection techniques with the attitude scale questionnaire. The conclusion that adolescents in SMK PakuanLembang were almost of all positive with a percentage of 60,19%. Advice for teachers are expected to continue to encourage students to increase positive attitudes about the dangers of smoking from an early age. Keywords:Attitudes Adolescent, Dangers of Smoking.
