Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya angka pengguna smartphone dan internet yang didominasi oleh kelompok usia yang tergolong generasi milenial, sehingga diperlukan sebuah penguasaan terhadap sebuah kemampuan yaitu kompetensi literasi digital. Kompetensi literasi digital yang dimaksud adalah kompetensi multiliteracies yang terdiri dari kompetensi technical, cognitive dan social emotional. Penguasaan kompetensi ini dirasa sangat penting dalam menghadapi era digital saat ini, agar penggunaannya dapat terarah secara bijak dan cerdas serta menggunakannya sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Selain dari itu, hal ini memunculkan peluang untuk terwujudnya masyarakat pembelajar atau learning society. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi literasi digital terhadap learning society pada generasi milenial di Kelurahan Rancaekek Kencana, Kecamatan Rancaekek, Kabupaten Bandung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan kuisioner (angket). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kelurahan Rancaekek Kencana yang tergolong sebagai generasi milenial pada rentang usia 20-39 tahun. Adapun responden yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang. Variabel penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan path analysis atau analisis jalur dengan bantuan program SPSS 20.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari kompetensi literasi digital technical dan social emotional baik melalui kearifan penggunaan smartphone dan internet maupun secara langsung. Sementara itu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari kompetensi cognitive literasi digital terhadap learning society dengan sumbangan pengaruh sebesar 52,4% dan 47,6% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Fatony (1603630) This research is motivated by the high number of smartphone and internet users dominated by the age group of millennials, so that a mastery of an ability is required, namely digital literacy competencies. The competency of digital literacy in question is multiliteracies competency consisting of technical, cognitive and social emotional competencies. Mastery of competence is considered very important in facing the digital era today, so that its use can be directed wisely and intelligently and use it according to needs. In addition, this presents opportunities for the realization of a learning society. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of digital literacy competency towards learning society in millennials in Rancaekek Kencana Village, Rancaekek District, Bandung Regency. The approach used in this research is quantitative approach using descriptive analysis method. The technique in collecting data used in this research is using questionnaires. The subject of this study is the community of Rancaekek Kencana Village which is classified as millennials in the age range of 20-39 years. The respondents who were sampled in this study were as many as 100 people. Research variables are analyzed using path analysis with the help of SPSS 20.0 for Windows programs. The results of the research obtained are that there is no significant influence of the competence of digital technical and social emotional literacy both through the wisdom of smartphone and internet use and directly. Meanwhile, there is a significant influence of cognitive competency of digital literacy on learning society with an influence contribution of 52.4% and another 47.6% influenced by other variables.
