Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan karier berbasis teori career diamond untuk mengembangkan adaptabilitas karier peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya individu untuk memiliki kemampuan adaptabilitas karier. Adaptabilitas karier merupakan kemampuan individu untuk menghadapi dan menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan yang terjadi pada kondisi dan lingkungan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen kuasi (pre and posttest) di SMK PU Negeri Bandung kelas X Tahun Pelajaran 2018-2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling teknik convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen adaptabilitas karier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara empirik program bimbingan karier berbasis teori career diamond efektif untuk mengembangkan adaptabilitas karier peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Karier, Adaptabilitas Karier, Peserta Didik SMK   ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a career guidance program based on the career diamond theory to develop students' career adaptability. This research is motivated by the importance of individuals to have career adaptability skills. Career adaptability is the individual's ability to cope and adapt to changes in environmental conditions and employment. This study uses a quantitative method with quasi experimental research design (pre and posttest) at SMK PU Negeri Bandung tenth grade Academic Year 2018-2019. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling, convenience sampling technique. The data were collected using the career adaptability instrument. The results showed empirically the career guidance program based on career diamond theory was effective for developing students' career adaptability.
