Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah kemampuan berbicara anak yang pada saat pembelajaran dirasa masih memerlukan stimulasi. Hal ini ditandai dengan anak masih belum mampu mengutarakan, mengungkapkan, menjelaskan pendapatnya, belum mampu menceritakan kembali pengalaman yang ia punya atau kejadian di sekitarnya secara lengkap dan utuh karena perbendaharaan kata yang masih sedikit dan terbata-bata, belum mampu pula untuk menceritakan isi gambar yang anak lihat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini 4-5 tahun melalui metode menggambar bebas. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan dengan desain Pelton. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga tindakan dengan tingkatan yang berbeda pada setiap tindakannya. Adapun partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 orang anak yang berusia 4-5 tahun yang dilaksanakan di TK Al-Falaah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi secara langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil bahwa metode menggambar bebas dalam peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini 4-5 tahun mengalami peningkatan pada setiap tindakannya. ----- KThis research is motivated by the problem of children's speaking ability which during the learning process they feel they still need stimulation. This is indicated by the fact that the child is still unable to express, explain his opinion, is not able to retell the experience that he has or the events around him completely and completely because the vocabulary is still small and halting, is not able to tell the contents of the picture. child see. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of speaking ability of 4-5 years early childhood through free drawing method. This research method uses action research with Pelton's design. The implementation of this research was carried out in three actions with different levels for each action. The participants in this study were 5 children aged 4-5 years who were carried out in Al-Falaah Kindergarten. Data collection was carried out by direct observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is found that the free drawing method in improving the speaking ability of 4-5 years early childhood has increased in each action.
