Abstract

Masalah kebutuhan akan air baku setiap tahun semakin bertambah. Salah satu diantaranya adalah di Desa Cihanjawar, Kecamatan Bojong, Kabupaten Purwakarta. Desa Cihanjawar dengan jumlah penduduk 863 jiwa pada tahun 2006 dan laju pertumbuhan penduduk rata-rata 2,28 % setiap tahun di Kabupaten Purwakarta, mengakibatkan ketersediaan air baku untuk masa yang akan datang bertambah. Khususnya untuk warga di Desa Cihanjawar, Kecamatan Bojong, Kabupaten Purwakarta. Selain masalah diatas, belum tersedianya suatu sistem penyaluran air baku dari Mata Air Cibadak yang merupakan sumber air utama untuk masyarakat di Desa Cihanjawar adalah salah satu penyebab belum optimalnya penggunaan sumber Mata Air Cibadak. Pada kasus ini, penulis memberikan alternatif dalam peningkatan dan pemanfaatan air baku Mata Air Cibadak agar masyarakat di Desa Cihanjawar tidak mengalami kekurangan air pada waktu-waktu tertentu. Alternatif yang ditawarkan adalah merencanakan sistem suplai air baku dengan membangun bangunan penangkap air (Bronkaptering) di dekat Mata Air Cibadak, 1,5 KM dari Desa Cihanjawar. Pemilihan alternatif ini berdasarkan kepada analisis topografi, analisis teknis dan analisis secara ekonomi. Kata Kunci : faktor pertumbuhan, bangunan penangkap air (Bronkaptering), ketersediaan air, analisis teknis, analisis ekonomi. Problem will need the raw water is increasing every year. One of them is in the village of Cihanjawar, District Olean, Purwakarta. Cihanjawar village with a population of 863 people in 2006 and a population growth rate of 2.28% on average each year in the District of Purwakarta, resulting in the availability of raw water for future increases. Particularly for residents in the village Cihanjawar, District Olean, Purwakarta. In addition to the above problems, the unavailability of a raw water delivery system from the Fountain Cibadak which is the main water source for the community in the village is one of the causes Cihanjawar not optimal use of resources Cibadak Fountain. In this case, the authors provide an alternative for the improvement and utilization of raw water fountain Cibadak Cihanjawar so that people in the village did not experience water shortages at certain times. Alternative offered is planned raw water supply system by constructing buildings catchments (Bronkaptering) near the Fountain Cibadak, 1.5 KM from the village Cihanjawar. Selection of this alternative is based on the topographic analysis, technical analysis and economic analysis.
