Abstract

Berpidato merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Namun, keterampilan ini tidak mudah untuk dikuasai mengingat pidato itu adalah pendekatan pragmatik tidak hanya menguasai teori, tetapi juga menguasai aspek-aspek praktik. Hasil studi awal menunjukkan mahasiswa belum mampu untuk melakukan berpidato secara maksimal, baik dari aspek kebahasaan dan aspek nonkebahasaan. Salah satu upaya memperbaiki masalah tersebut adalah dengan Model Pembelajaran Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Penerapan model NLP melalui Training Motivasi menggunakan penelitian R&D dapat dijadikan model pembelajaran berpidato yang terbukti keberhasilannya dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan model empirik NLP melalui training motivasi dalam pembelajaran berpidato untuk mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode penelitian R & D dengan memodifikasi model 4-D (Four-D Models) Thiagarajan (1974). Rancangan dan pengembangan model pembelajaran NLP melalui training motivasi dalam pembelajaran berpidato meliputi unsur orientasi model, sintak, akuisisi, elaborasi, evaluasi, pendekatan serta strategi model. Langkah NLP dilakukan dengan Pace the state, fire the anchor, lead to desire the state, nested loop, future pacing, build the habbit, dan skill motorik. Strategi NLP diimplementasikan dengan mempraktikkan secara langsug apa yang dipelajari, fefleksi dan diskusi, building rapport, elisitasi dan adanya intervensi dan mengunci perubahan. Model NLP berbasis traininig motivasi terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam berpidato. Hasil uji hipotesis terbukti ada pengaruh model NLP melalui Training Motivasi terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpidato mahasiswa. Setelah proses pembelajaran berpidato mahasiswa mengakui bahwa mereka terbantu dengan pembelajaran tersebut sehingga 72,5% mahasiswa sudah mampu melakukan pidato secara singkat, sementara 27,5% lainnya belum maksimal melakukan pidato. ;--- Speech is one of the skills that must be mastered by students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program. However, this skill is not easy to master considering that speech is a pragmatic approach to not only mastering theory, but also mastering practical aspects. The results of the preliminary study showed that students were not yet able to make speeches optimally, both from the linguistic and non-linguistic aspects. One of the efforts to fix this problem is the Neuro-Linguistic Programming Learning Model (NLP). The application of the NLP model through Motivation Training using R&D research can be used as a speech learning model which has proven its success in this study. The purpose of this study was to obtain an NLP empirical model through motivation training in speech learning for students. The research method used in this research is the R & D research method by modifying the 4-D model (Four-D Models) of Thiagarajan (1974). The design and development of the NLP learning model through motivational training in speech learning includes elements of model orientation, syntax, acquisition, elaboration, evaluation, approach and model strategy. NLP steps are carried out by Pace the state, fire the anchor, lead to desire the state, nested loops, future pacing, build the habbit, and motor skills. The NLP strategy is implemented by directly practicing what is learned, reflection and discussion, building rapport, elicitation and the existence of interventions and locking in change. The NLP model based on motivation training has been proven to improve students' speaking skills. The results of hypothesis testing proved that there was an effect of the NLP model through Motivation Training on improving student speech skills. After the speech learning process, students admitted that they were helped by the learning so that 72.5% of students were able to make short speeches, while 27.5% did not make speeches optimally.
