Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecanduan game online dan kesepian terhadap perilaku agresi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 353 orang yaitu remaja usia 15-21 tahun yang bermain game online 2-10 jam/minggu atau lebih, game yang dimainkan mengandung unsur agresivitas dan domisili Kota Bandung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu accidental/incidental sampling dengan karakteristik yang sudah peneliti tentukan. Peneliti menggunakan 3 alat ukur dalam penelitian ini, yaitu Game Addiction Scale milik Lemmens dkk (2009), The De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale milik De Jong Gierveld & Van Tilburg (2006) dan Aggression Questionnaire Scale milik Buss dan Perry (1992). Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis yaitu teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda menggunakan Software SPSS Versi 20,0. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh kecanduan game online terhadap perilaku agresi dan terdapat pengaruh kesepian terhadap perilaku agresi. Selain itu terdapat hubungan antara ketiganya yaitu terdapat pengaruh kecanduan game online dan kesepian terhadap perilaku agresi. Kata kunci: Remaja, Kecanduan Game Online, Kesepian, Perilaku Agresi This study aims to find out the influence of online gaming addiction and loneliness on aggression behavior. The sample in this study amounted to 353 people, namely teenagers aged 15-21 years who played online games 2-10 hours / week or more, games played containing elements of aggressiveness and domicile of Bandung City. Sampling techniques used in this study are accidental / incidental sampling with the characteristics that researchers have determined. Researchers used 3 measuring instruments in this study, namely Game Addiction Scale by Lemmens et al (2009), The De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale by De Jong Gierveld & Van Tilburg (2006) and Aggression Questionnaire Scale by Buss and Perry (1992). The data analysis method used to answer the hypothesis is simple linear regression analysis technique and multiple linear regression using SPSS software version 20.0. The result of this study is that there is an influence of online gaming addiction on aggression behavior and there is an influence of loneliness on aggression behavior. In addition, there is a relationship between the three, namely the influence of online gaming addiction and loneliness on aggression behavior.
