Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peranan pembelajaran metakognitif dengan strategi Preview, Question, Read, Reflect,Recite and Review (PQ4R) terhadap pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir logis matematis (KBLM), kemampuan mengajukan masalah matematis (KMMM), dan disposisi matematis (DM) siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan disain pretes-postes dengan kelompok kontrol, subyek penelitian sebanyak 135 siswa dengan KAM rendah yang ditetapkan secara purposif dari empat kelas yang masing-masing dari 2 Kelas XI dari SMA level tinggi dan sedang di Garut. Instrumen penelitian meliputi, masing-masing satu set tes bentuk uraian: Tes KAM, Tes KBLM, dan Tes KMMM, dan satu set skala DM model Likert. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, penelitian memperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Secara keseluruhan maupun berdasarkan level sekolah, tidak terdapat perbedaan pencapaian dan peningkatan KBLM siswa dan berada pada kategori rendah; 2) Perbedaan pencapaian dan peningkatan KMMM hanya terjadi pada level sekolah tinggi dengan kategori cukup untuk siswa yang mendapatkan strategi PQ4R dan kategori rendah bagi siswa yang mendapatkan PS; 3) Secara keseluruhan, pada kedua level sekolah (tinggi dan sedang), tidak terdapat perbedaan mutu pencapaian dan peningkatan DM antara siswa yang mendapat PQ4R dan yang mendapat pendekatan saintifik dan mutu keduanya tergolong cukup baik.; 4)terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran dan level sekolah terhadap peningkatan KBLM, namun tidak ada interaksi terhadap pencapaian dan peningkatan KMMM dan DM; dan 5) terdapat asosiasi rendah antara KBLM dan KMMM, namun tidak ada asosiasi antara KBLM dan DM dan antara KMMM dan DM. Selain itu, siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas KBLM dan KMMM. Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir logis matematis, kemampuan mengajukan masalah matematis, disposisi matematis, metacognitif,PQ4R This study aims to analyze the role of metacognitive learning through PQ4R strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite and Review) on the achievement and improvement of the logical thinking ability of mathematic (KBLM), posing mathematical problem (KMMM), and mathematical disposition (DM) of high school students. This research used a quasi-experimental design as a method with pretest-posttest on a control group. This study involved 135 students with low KAM as objects, set purposively from four classes, each of the 2 classes of XI grade of high and medium level highschool in Garut. The research instrument consists of a set shape test description: Test KAM, Test KBLM, and Test KMMM, and a set of DM scale of the Likert model. The results showed the following conclusions: 1) Generally, or even on the level of the school, there was no difference in the achievement and improvement of KBLM students and is classified as a low category; 2) the Difference in the achievement and improvement of KMMM occurs only at the level of high school with a moderate category for the students who get the PQ4R strategy and the low category for students who get PS; 3) Generally, in the second level of the school (high and medium), there was no difference in the quality of the achievement and improvement of DM among the students who got the PQ4R and scientific approach, both are considered as good.; 4) there is an interaction between learning (method atau process) and the level of school on the increment of KBLM, but there is no interaction on the achievement and improvement of KMMM and DM; and 5) there is an correlation between low KBLM and KMMM, but no correlation between KBLM and DM, also between KMMM and DM. In addition, students experienced difficulty in completing the tasks of KBLM and KMMM.
