    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh identitas sosial yang dimiliki Mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia terhadap prasangka sosial pada penggunaan cadar dikalangan mahasiswa. Sampel diambil berdasarkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dengan jumlah 350 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria tertentu. Instrumen yang digunakan merupakan adaptasi instrumen identitas sosial milik Luthanen dan Crocker (1992) yang sudah diadaptasi oleh Suwartono dan Moningka (2017) dan instrumen prasangka sosial oleh Nashori (2015). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi untuk mengetahui pengaruh identitas sosial terhadap prasangka sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukKan angka signifikansi α ( <0,05) yang berarti terdapat pengaruh identitas sosial terhadap prasangka sosial penggunaan cadar di lingkungan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This study aims to determine how the influence of social identity possessed by students of the University of Pendidikan Indonesia on social prejudice on the use of the veil among students. Samples were taken based on a quantitative approach with a correlational method with a total of 350 students. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with certain criteria. The instrument used is an adaptation of Luthanen and Crocker (1992) social identity instruments that have been adapted by Suwartono and Moningka (2017) and the social prejudice instrument by Nashori (2015). The data analysis technique used regression analysis to determine the effect of social identity on social prejudice. The results showed a significance level of α (<0.05) which means that there is an effect of social identity on social prejudice against the use of the veil in the Indonesian Education University.
