    Abstract

    Penelitian tentang pengaruh penambahan La2O3 terhadap konduktivitas ionik CSZ sebagai elektrolit padat untuk SOFC telah dilakukan. Pelet CSZ-La2O3 dibuat dengan cara kompaksi 4 ton/cm2 dan penyinteran pada suhu 1450 0C selama 4 jam dengan konsentrasi La2O3 dalam % berat sebesar 0%, 1% dan 3%. Analisis struktur kristal menunjukkan bahwa setiap pelet membentuk struktur kristal kubik. Analisis struktur mikro menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pertumbuhan butir dan pengurangan porositas setelah penambahan La2O3. Analisis rapat massa menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan rapat massa seiring bertambahnya konsentrasi La2O3. Diketahui bahwa penambahan La2O3 dapat meningkatkan konduktivitas ionik CSZ.

    Abstract
    A research about effect La2O3 additiion on ionic conductivity of CSZ as solid electrolyte for SOFC has been done. Pellets of CSZ-La2O3 have been pressed at 4 ton/cm2 and sintered at 1450 0C for 4 hours with La2O3 concentrations in wt% were 0%, 1% and 3%. Crystal structure analysis showed that every CSZ pellet formed cubic crystal structure. Micro structure analysis showed that the addition of La2O3 increased grain size and reduced pores CSZ pellets. Density analysis showed that the density of CSZ pellets increased after addition of La2O3. It was known that addition of La2O3 increased the ionic conductivity of CSZ.
