Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan antara ketersediaan prasarana dan latar belakang sekolah asal mahasiswa PJKR FPOK UPI 2018 terhadap hasil belajar renang gaya bebas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasi ganda dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara nonprobability sampling yaitu sampling jenuh (total sampling) berjumlah 148 orang mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah aktivitas akuatik pada semester I. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara dan tes performa hasil belajar renang gaya bebas. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara ketersediaan prasarana dan latar belakang sekolah asal terhadap hasil belajar renang gaya bebas yaitu sebesar 31,6%, sedangkan 68,4% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara ketersediaan prasarana dan latar belakang sekolah asal mahasiswa PJKR FPOK UPI 2018 baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar renang gaya bebas. This study aims to find out the extent of the relationship between the availability of infrastructure and the background of the school from the students of PJKR FPOK UPI 2018 to the results of learning freestyle swimming. This research uses descriptive methods of double correlation using quantitative approaches.. Sampling techniques by means of nonprobability sampling, namely saturated sampling (total sampling) amounted to 148 students who attended the course of aquatic activities in the first semester. This research instrument uses interview techniques and performance tests resulting from learning freestyle swimming. Based on the results of processing and data analysis shows that there is a relationship between the availability of infrastructure and the background of the original school to the results of freestyle swimming learning is 31.6%, while the other 68,,4%is influenced by other factors. So it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the availability of infrastructure and the background of the school from the students of PJKR FPOK UPI 2018 both individually and jointly to the results of learning freestyle swimming.
