Abstract

Kinerja pegawai yang belum optimal adalah masalah yang penting untuk diatasi karena dapat menyebabkan kesulitan bagi organisasi dalam mencapai tujuannya. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, salah satunya berkaitan dengan efektivitas penerapan sistem remunerasi. Laporan penelitian ini membahas pengaruh penerapan sistem E-Remunerasi Kinerja (E-RK) terhadap kinerja pegawai. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 69 pegawai Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika di salah satu kota di Jawa Barat. Hasil analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan penerapan E-RK memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penerapan sistem ERK yang lebih transparan dan kredibel harus dilakukan sehingga tercipta lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, yang memotivasi para pegawai untuk berkompetisi secara positif dalam meningkatkan produktifitas serta kualitas hasil kerja mereka. Less than optimal employee performance is an important problem to overcome because it can create difficulties for an organization to achieve its goals. There are many factors affecting employee performance, one of which is related to the effectiveness of remuneration system implementation. This research reports on the effects of an E-Performance-based Remuneration (E-Remunerasi Kinerja/E-RK) system on employee performance. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to 69 employees of an Office of Communication and Information Technology in a city in West Java. The results of simple regression analysis show that the application of E-RK had a strong effect on employee performance. A more transparent and credible E-RK system must be implemented so as to create a conducive work environment, which motivates the employees to compete positively in increasing their work productivity and quality.
