Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat kontribusi relasi orang tua dan anak terhadap orientasi pernikahan yang dimoderasi peran gender pada dewasa awal di Kota Bandung. Responden (N=395) berusia 20-29 tahun di Kota Bandung mengisi kuesioner General Perceptions of Parental Reciprocity Scale (GPOPRS) untuk mengukur relasi orang tua-anak, Prospective Life Course Questionnaire dalam bidang pernikahan dan keluarga untuk mengukur orientasi pernikahan, dan Traditional-Egaliter Sex Role (TESR) untuk mengukur peran gender. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear untuk mengetahui pengaruh relasi orang tua-anak terhadap orientasi pernikahan dan regresi berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh relasi orang tua-anak terhadap orientasi pernikahan yang dimoderasi peran gender. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran gender tidak memoderasi kontribusi relasi orang tua-anak terhadap orientasi pernikahan pada dewasa awal. This study aims to examine the contribution of parent-child relations to marriage orientation moderated by gender roles in emerging adulthood in Bandung. Respondents (N = 395) aged 20-29 years in Bandung filled out the General Perceptions of Parental Reciprocity Scale (GPOPRS) questionnaire to measure parent-child relations, the Prospective Life Course Questionnaire in the field of marriage and family to measure marital orientation, and Traditional-Egalitarian Sex Role (TESR) to measure gender roles. The data analysis technique used is linear regression analysis to see the effect of parent-child relations on marriage orientation and multiple regression to see the effect of parent-child relations on marriage orientation moderated by gender roles. The results of this study indicate that gender roles do not moderate the contribution of parent-child relations to marriage orientation in emerging adulthood.
