Abstract
Psychological well-being merupakan pencapaian seorang individu dalam hidup, cara memberikan pemaknaan dari kepuasan hidup, kesejahteraan dan kebahagiaan yang telah dimiliki. Pemahaman terhadap diri sendiri, pengetahuan pada hal-hal yang perlu diberikan perbaikan dan peningkatan meliputi kekurangan, kelebihan, penerimaan terhadap kehidupan di masa lalu dan masa sekarang serta memiliki tujuan untuk menghadapi masa depan. Psychological well-being terdiri dari enam dimensi yaitu self-acceptance, positive relation with other, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, dan personal growth. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan psychological well-being yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik sekolah dasar kelas atas. Penelitian dinilai perlu dilaksanakan mengingat berbagai fenomena yang terjadi di sekolah disebabkan oleh tingkat psychological well-being yang rendah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas atas SDN 1 Kayuambon Lembang Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan tingkat psychological well-being berada pada kategori sedang. Tingkat pencapaian peserta didik perlu dikembangkan melalui rancangan program bimbingan dan konseling. Kata kunci: Psychological well-being, Rancangan Program Bimbingan dan Konseling, Sekolah Dasar. The Tendency of Elementary School Children’s Psychological well-being as the Basis of Guidance and Counseling Program Development (Descriptive Study At SDN 1 Kayuambon Lembang Academic Year 2019/2020). Educational Psychology and Counseling, Faculty of Science Education, Indonesia University of Education. Psychological well-being is an achievement of an individual in his life and the way they have the satisfaction of life and welfare and happiness that has been possessed. Individual will be able to understand himself, knowing what things need to be repaired and improved covering the shortcomings and advantages, can accept his life in the past and present and have a purpose to face the future. Psychological well-being consists of six dimension such as self-acceptance, positive relation with other, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and personal growth. The purpose of this research was to describe the psychological well-being owned by elementary school learners. This research is assessed to be implemented considering the various phenomena that occur in schools caused by the level of low psychological well-being. The research method using a quantitative approach with the research design used is descriptive research. The research population is top class students at SDN 1 Kayuambon Lembang, academic year 2019/2020 with saturating sampling technique. Research findings suggest that levels of psychological well-being are in medium category. This level of achievement needs to be developed further through the design of guidance and counseling programs.
