Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis gambaran partisipasi politik mahasiswa di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, pengembangan model belajar keterlibatan (MBK) untuk memperkuat partisipasi politik dan civic engagement; menganalisis efektivitas implementasi model pengembangan model belajar keterlibatan (MBK) untuk memperkuat partisipasi politik dan civic engagement. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran sekuensial. Desain yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Dasar teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah bentuk partisipasi politik dari Gabriel Almond dan Sidney Verba (1963), keterlibatan mahasiswa dari Alexander Astin's (1985), civic engagement dari Barbara Jacoby (2009) dan teori-teori yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan model belajar keterlibatan (MBK). Lokasi penelitian di dua Universitas Yaitu Universitas Ahmad Dahlan dan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Universitas Ahmad Dahlan dan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta semester 2, Ahli Pendidikan Politik, Ahli Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan Ahli Politik di Indonesia. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara, FGD, Observasi, Dokumentasi dan Survei. Tekhnik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantatif, deskripsi kualitatif dan uji hipotesis uji Mann Whitney Test. Hasil penelitian 1) Partisipasi politik mahasiswa pada pengetahuan adalah cukup, yaitu 62,19 % sikap 70,51 % Perilaku 82,03 %. 2) Integrasi partisipasi politik dan civic engagement dalam materi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan pengalaman belajar mahasiswa yaitu a) Pendahuluan tentang Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan; b) Identitas nasional; c) UUD 1945 sebagai Konstitusi Indonesia: Tahapan pengembangan model belajar keterlibatan (MBK) di luar kelas adalah melalui proyek engagement partisipasi politik yaitu melalui mini survei (pemahaman UUD 1945 sebagai Konstitusi Indonesia); proyek engagement, Podcast engagement partisipasi politik (Hubungan negara dan warga negara, Demokrasi : menganalisis demokrasi di Indonesia hakikat demokrasi di Indonesia), 3) Penerapan model belajar keterlibatan (MBK) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pelibatan politik dalam kategori sikap, perilaku dan pengetahuan. This study aims to examine and analyze the picture of student political participation in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, developing an engagement learning model (MBK) to strengthen political participation and civic engagement; analyzing the effectiveness of the implementation of the engagement learning model (MBK) development model to strengthen political participation and civic engagement. This study used a sequential mixed method. The design used is research development or Research and Development (R&D).The theoretical basis used in this research is the form of political participation from Gabriel Almond and Sidney Verba (1963), student involvement from Alexander Astin's (1985), civic engagement from Barbara Jacoby (2009), and theories related to the development of an engaged learning model (MBK). Research sites at two universities are Ahmad Dahlan University and Yogyakarta State University. Student research subjects at the University Namely Ahmad Dahlan University and Yogyakarta State University semester 2, Political Education Expert, 1Citizenship Education Expert, and Political Expert in Indonesia. Retrieval of data through interviews, FGD, Observation, Documentation, and Survey. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive, qualitative description, and hypothesis testing Mann Whitney Test. Research results 1) Student political participation in knowledge is sufficient, namely 62.19% attitude 70.51% Behavior 82.03%. 2) Integration of political participation and civic engagement in Citizenship Education material and student learning experiences, namely a) Introduction to Citizenship Education; b) National identity; c) The 1945 Constitution as the Indonesian Constitution: The stages of developing an engaging learning model (MBK) outside the classroom are through a political participation engagement project that is through a mini-survey (understanding the 1945 Constitution as the Indonesian Constitution); engagement projects, engagement political podcasts (Relations between the state and citizens, Democracy: analyzing democracy in Indonesia, the nature of democracy in Indonesia), 3) The application of the learning engagement model (MBK) has a significant effect on political engagement in the attitudes, behaviors and knowledge categories .
