Abstract
Perkembangan ekonomi di Indonesia menuntut untuk memiliki keterampilan yang mumpuni. Pemerintah berupaya untuk memberdayakan para penyandang tunanetra dengan membekali keahlian pada bidang jasa, agar mereka dapat melanjutkan kehidupannya secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk medapatkan gambaran mengenai pelatihan barista di BRSPDSN Wyata Guna sebagai upaya pemberdayaan tunanetra pasca sekolah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk menjawab pertanyaan terkait perencanaan pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, evaluasi pelatihan, hambatan pelatihan, serta upaya dalam mengatasi hambatan pelatihan tersebut. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi kemudian diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi. Data penelitian dianalisis melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan terdiri dari asesmen pelatihan barista dan perencanaan pelaksanaan pelatihan barista; pelaksanaan terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup; evaluasi terdiri dari evaluasi proses dan evaluasi hasil, terdapat faktor hambatan dari guru dan peserta didik; hambatan dalam pelatihan dapat diatasi oleh guru. Peneliti merekomendasikan kepada guru agar asesmen dilakukan dengan lebih teliti sehingga pelaksanaan pelatihan dapat berjalan lebih optimal. Kata Kunci: pemberdayaan, tunanetra pasca sekolah, pelatihan barista ABSTRACT EMPOWERMENT OF POST-SCHOOL BLIND THROUGH BARISTA TRAINING AT BRSPDSN WYATA GUNA Economic development in Indonesia requires having qualified skills. The government seeks to empower blind people by providing expertise in the service sector, so that they can continue their lives independently. This research aims to obtain an overview of barista training at BRSPDSN Wyata Guna as an effort to empower post-school blind people. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to answer questions related to training planning, training implementation, training evaluation, training barriers, and efforts to overcome these training barriers. The research data was collected through interviews and documentation studies and then tested its validity through triangulation. The research data were analyzed through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that the planning consists of assessing the barista training and planning the implementation of the barista training; implementation consists of preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities; evaluation consists of process evaluation and evaluation of results, there are obstacle factors from teachers and students; training barriers can be overcome by teachers. Researchers recommend to teachers that the assessment is carried out more thoroughly so that the implementation of training can run more optimally.
