Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari begitu pentingnya materi dalam sebuah pembelajaran, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui materi yang di sajikan khususnya materi IPS yang tedapat dalam buku tematik, yang saat ini digunakan dalam proses belajar. Untuk kelas yang menjadi fokus penelitian disini yaitu pada kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis konten atau isi, untuk objek yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini yaitu pada bauku teks tematik kelas IV tema 7 Indahnya Keberagaman di Negriku. Proses penelitian ini terdiri dari perencanaan, reduksi data, inferensi, dan analisis data yang sudah terkumpul. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu memaparkan mengenai kondisi faktual muatan materi IPS yang disajikan, keruntutan materi IPS yang di sajikan dan yang terakhir mengenai keluasan dan kedalaman materi IPS yang di sajikan dalam buku tematik kelas IV tema 7 Indahnya keberagaman di Negriku, untuk kondisi faktual muatan IPS yang terdapat didalam buku tematik tema 7 Indahnya nya keberagaman di negriku pada kelas IV ada beberapa materi yang disajikan di sertai dengan kenyataan, namun dalam buku ini tidak terdapat materi yang menyajikan data pendukung seperti nama peristiwa tanggal dan lainnya , selain itu materi atau fakta yang terdapat dalam buku di paparkan dengan adanya teks bacaan, sedangkan untuk keruntutan materi, untuk materi IPS sendiri materi yang di sajikan sudah sesuai dengan KD, dan penyajian materi juga mudah di cerna oleh siswa, terakhir untuk keluasan dan kedalaman materi yang di sajikan sesuai dengan struktur keilmuan IPS, dan di sajikannya contoh konkrit berupa gambar serta adanya penyajian konsep atau materi yang berbentuk teks dan tabel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang di lakukan, buku tematik kelas IV tema 7 Indahnya Kebergaman untuk penyajian materi IPS nya sudah baik terlihat dari banyaknya muatan faktual yang di saajikan serta adanya penjelasan materi yang di sajikan dengan teks dan tebel serta di sajikan nya contoh yang berbentuk gambar. ----- This research is motivated by the importance of the material in learning, so this research aims to determine the material presented, especially the social studies material in thematic books, which are currently used in the learning process. For the class that is the focus of the research here, namely in the fourth grade of elementary school, this study uses a qualitative approach by using the content or content analysis method, for the object that is the focus of this study, namely the thematic textbook for class IV theme 7 Indahnya Keberagaman di Negriku. The research process consists of planning, data reduction, inference, and analysis of the collected data. The results of this study are to describe the factual conditions of the content of the social studies material presented, the clutter of the social studies material that is presented and the last one regarding the breadth and depth of social studies material presented in the thematic book class IV theme 7 Indahnya Keberagaman di Negriku, for the factual conditions of the content. IPS contained in thematic books on the theme 7 The beauty of diversity in my country in grade IV there are some materials are presented along with reality, but in this book, there is no material that presents supporting data such as the name of the event, date and so on, other than that material or The facts contained in the book are explained by the reading text, while for the wrapping of the material, for the social studies material itself, the material presented is in accordance with KD, and the presentation of the material is also easily digested by students, finally for the breadth and depth of the material presented accordingly with the scientific structure of social studies, and he presents concrete examples in the form of pictures and there is a presentation of concepts or material in the form of text and tables. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, the thematic book for class IV theme 7 Indahnya Keberagaman di Negriku, for the presentation of the social studies material it is already good, it can be seen from the large number of factual content that is presented as well as the explanation of the material that is presented with text and thickness and the examples in the form of images are presented.
