Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengembangan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran sangat penting dikuasai oleh guru Sekolah Dasar. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat dapat membantu tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri “S” di Bandung dan Sekolah Dasar Negeri “S” di Pangkalpinang ditemukan permasalahan terkait keterampilan menulis yang paling banyak yaitu penggunaan huruf kapital dan penggunaan tanda baca. Permasalahan ini dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran wayang beber berbasis kearifan lokal menjadi media yang layak digunakan. Untuk melihat kelayakan media pembelajaran dibutuhkan instrumen penelitian berupa angket. Sumber data berasal dari para ahli dan siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penyebaran angket pertama menunjukkan media pembelajaran layak digunakan dengan perbaikan. Setelah melakukan perbaikan, dilakukan tahap kedua yang menunjukkan media pembelajaran layak digunakan dengan hasil gambar mudah dipahami, ukuran media jelas, gambar cocok digunakan untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar, pesan tersampaikan, gambar saling berhubungan, dan gambar sesuai dengan cerita 100% . Untuk aspek media pembelajaran hasil karya baru, gambar mempunyai nilai estetika, gambar tokoh menarik, dan warna pada gambar sesuai 93,75%. Uji coba produk siswa menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran wayang beber berbasis kearifan lokal layak digunakan dengan capaian persentase 78%. The use of appropriate learning media can help achieve learning objectives. In elementary schools “s” in Bandung and elementary schools “s” in Pangkalpinang found problems related to writing skills most of which are capital letters and punctuation. This problem can be overcome by using learning media. Research method uses the Research and Development (RnD) method research and develop learning media for wayang beber based on local wisdom into a suitable medium for use. To see the feasibility of learning media a research instrument is needed in the form af a questionnaire. The data source came from the experts and elementary school students. The results of the first questionnaire show that the learning media is suitable for use with improvement. After making improvements, the second stage is carried out the implementation of learning media, with the picture result is easy to understand, the size of media is clear, the picture is suitable for elementary school students, message conveyed, pictures are interconnected, and pictures are suitable according to the story reached 100%. For learning aspect of new work media, the image has aesthetic value, interesting figure, and the color in the image is appropriate reached 93,75%. Student product trials stated that the local wisdom-based wayang beber learning media was feasible to use with the percentage reached 78%.
