Abstract

Dewasa ini kopi adalah salah satu minuman yang menjadi primadona. Kopi digandrungi tidak hanya dikalangan orang tua, tetapi juga di kalangan anak muda. tercatat dari tahun 2010 hingga 2015 jumlah pertumbuhan usaha café atau coffee shop di Bandung meningkat dari 191 menjadi 278 di tahun 2015 membuat kopi makin mudah didapatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat gelombang kopi konsumen generasi milenial coffee shop di Kota Bandung. Penelitian dilakukan sejak 28 April 2020 hingga 11 Juni 2020. Atribut gelombang kopi meliputi alasan mengonsumsi kopi, konsumsi kopi dirumah, pengetahuan tentang jenis biji kopi, ketertarikan terhadap pengetahuan jenis biji kopi, pengetahuan tentang asal-usul biji kopi, ketertarikan terhadap pengetahuan asalusul biji kopi, pengetahuan tentang proses pembuatan kopi, ketertarikan terhadap pengetahuan proses pembuatan kopi, kepentingan tentang kematangan biji kopi, pengetahuan terhadap kematangan biji kopi, dan pandangan terhadap barista. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mayoritas konsumen generasi milenial coffee shop di Kota Bandung adalah perempuan dengan jumlah 115 (54.5%), berstatus mahasiswa yang berjumlah 157 (74,4) dengan rentang usia 21 tahun-26 tahun sejumlah 125 (58.8%). Hasil gelombang kopi menunjukan bahwa konsumen generasi milenial coffee shop di Kota Bandung mayoritas berada di gelombang kedua. Nowadays, coffee is becoming one of excellent beverage. Coffee favored not only by the elders, but also by the youngsters. It is recorded from 2010 to 2015 the number of café or coffee shop in Bandung increased from 191 to 278 in 2015 making coffee easier to be found. This study intended to know the coffee wave level of millennial generation customers of coffee shop in Bandung. The research was conducted since April, 28th 2020 to June, 11th 2020. Attribute in coffee wave included the reason of consuming coffee, coffee consumption at home, knowledge about coffee beans variation, interest in the knowledge of coffee beans variation, knowledge of coffee beans origin, interest in the knowledge of coffee beans origin, knowledge of coffee making process, interest in the knowledge of coffee making process, the importance of coffee beans’ roasted level, knowledge of coffee beans’ roasted level dan the view on barista. The results of the research showed that the most coffee shop customers of millennial generation in Bandung City are 115 (54.5%) female, 157 (74.4%) student, 125 (58.8%) age range 21 to 30 years old . The coffee wave of the coffee shop costumers of millennial generation in Bandung City is in second wave.
