Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya temuan hambatan belajar yang dialami oleh siswa dari hasil studi pendahuluan. Siswa belum memahami konsep terjadinya siklus air, sehingga siswa kesulitan untuk mengerjakan soal identifikasi learning obstacle pada materi siklus air. Hambatan ini desebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang kurang memperhatikan hakikat pembelajaran IPA dan pembelajaran yang bermakna bagi siswa. Siswa tidak dilibatkan secara aktif dalam penemuan suatu konsep, melainkan siswa hanya menerima informasi saja. Sehingga pemahaman siswa pada materi siklus air tidak terbangun karena proses pembelajaran yang tidak bermakna. Penelitian bertujuan untuk merancang desain didaktis yang terbuat dari lesson design yang didalamnya memperhatikan science process skill, hakikat belajar IPA dan belajar bermakna. Desain didaktis ini dilakukan validasi terhadap ahli untuk mendapatkan desain didaktis yang lebih baik. . penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas v SD (32 orang siswa). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Serta untuk mendapatkan desain didaktis yang lebih baik dilakukan pengujian terhadap ahli yang relevan. This research is motivated by the findings of learning barriers experienced by students through the result of preliminary studies. Students do not yet understand the concept of the occurrence of water cycle so students find it difficult to work on identifying learning obstacles in the water cycle topic. This obstacle is caused by learning that does not pay attention to the nature of natural science learning and meaningful learning for students. Students are not actively involved in finding a concept but instead only receive information. Therefore, students' understanding of the water cycle topic is not built because the learning process is meaningless. This research aims to design a didactic design consisting of a lesson designs which pay attention to the science process skills, the nature of natural science learning and meaningful learning. This didactic design has been validated by experts to get a better didactic design. This research was conducted on Grade 5 elementary students (32 students). The research method used is qualitative research methods while the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. To obtain a better didactic design, a test given to relevant experts was carried out.
