Abstract
ABSTRACT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TAX SERVICE POLICY ON MOTOR VEHICLES CONDUCTED IN THE SHOPPING CENTER (Comparative Study in the Shopping Center between the one-stop administration system branch offices (SAMSAT) Bandung City Bandung Trade Center (BTC) and Cirebon City Gunungsari Trade Center (GTC) People always demand the government for a better, easier, and more effective public service. For this reason, BAPENDA, especially the SAMSAT Bandung City Joint Office and the Cirebon City SAMSAT Joint Office, provide easier, faster, and more transparent services, namely creating services in shopping centers, namely Samsat outlets. With the existence of this outlet samsat service, it is hoped that it can increase the amount of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) revenue which will increase Local Own Revenue (PAD). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of motorized vehicle tax services carried out at the Samsat outlet service shopping center in the Joint Office of SAMSAT Bandung City and Cirebon City at the Samsat outlet that opened in the Bandung Trade Center shopping center, Bandung City and Gunungsari Trade Center Cirebon City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a comparative study method. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is statistical analysis and descriptive analysis. The results showed that the effectiveness of motor vehicle tax services at the Bandung City BTC outlet and Cirebon City GTC outlet was carried out through various stages, starting from planning, implementation, socialization and application to be said effective. Judging from the indicators in the effectiveness criteria that show the results of the respondents, most of the people of Bandung City and Cirebon City people expressed a positive response to the motor vehicle tax service program in shopping centers. Suggestions given by researchers from the results of this study, the need to increase the socialization of the SAMSAT officers to the public regarding the importance of paying taxes, especially Motor Vehicle Taxes.
