Abstract

Persoalan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penguatan karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik melalui penerapan model project citizen dalam pembelajaran PPKn dengan melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas pada peserta didik kelas XI di SMK Negeri 10 Garut. Dan secara khusus mengumpulkan, mengkaji, mereduksi dan menganalisis tentang perencanaan, implementasi, karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik, serta kendala dan upaya dalam penguatan karakter tangung jawab peserta didik melalui penerapan model project citizen dalam pembelajaran PPKn. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman observasi, dokumentasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, angket/kuesioner. Hasil temuan bahwa perencanaan yang dilakukan guru sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran project citizen adalah dengan membuat perangkat pembelajaran yang di dalamnya meliputi silabus dan rpp. Implementasi model project citizen dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bukan hanya mampu mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif saja akan tetapi juga mampu memperkuat karakter kewarganegaraan, karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik setelah penggunaan model project citizen dalam pembelajaran PPKn mampu memperkuat karakter tanggung jawab dan melahirkan perubahan prilaku atau karakter yang konstruktif/membangun. Kendala yang ditemukan saat pelaksanaan model project citizen diantaranya adalah waktu dan biaya serta keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran, komitmen dari guru dalam melakukan proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi dari kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model project citizen. Upaya untuk meminimalisir kendala yang ditemui, perlunya kerjasama semua pihak dan dengan meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. STRENGTHENING RESPONSIBILITY CHARACTERS OF STUDENTS THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF THE CITIZEN PROJECT MODEL IN PPKn LEARNING (Classroom Action Research on Class XI Students at SMK Negeri 10 Garut) The main problem in this research is how to strengthen the character of the responsibility of students through the application of the project citizen model in PPKn learning by conducting classroom action research on class XI students at SMK Negeri 10 Garut. And specifically collect, study, reduce and analyze planning, implementation, the character of the responsibility of students, as well as constraints and efforts in strengthening the character of the responsibility of students through the application of the project citizen model in PPKn learning. The method used is Classroom Action Research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection techniques using observation guidelines, documentation, field notes, interviews, questionnaires / questionnaires. The findings show that the planning done by the teacher before using the project citizen learning model is by making learning tools which include syllabus and rpp. The implementation of the project citizen model in learning activities is not only able to develop cognitive abilities but also be able to strengthen the character of citizenship, the character of the responsibility of students after the use of the project citizen model in PPKn learning is able to strengthen the character of responsibility and produce changes in behavior or constructive character. . The constraints found during the implementation of the project citizen model include time and cost as well as limited learning facilities and infrastructure, commitment from teachers in planning, implementing, and reflecting on learning activities using the project citizen model. Efforts to minimize the obstacles encountered, the need for cooperation from all parties and by increasing the professional competence of teachers.
