Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sangat diperlukan di tengah banyaknya perbedaan yang dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Di Sekolah Dasar, terdapat permasalahan yang terjadi karena adanya perbedaan yaitu bermusuhan karena saling ejek. Hal tersebut terjadi karena siswa belum mengerti arti saling menghargai perbedaan serta belum memaknai nilai-nilai kebaikan yang terdapat pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Rancangan pembelajaran memiliki peranan penting untuk merancang situasi pembelajaran yang akan membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk menyikapi setiap perbedaan yang ada. Namun pada kenyatannya, pembelajaran masih berorientasi pada guru. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan upaya pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa belum dapat terealisasikan. Rancangan pembelajaran dapat berupa Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang diindikasikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup dengan menggunakan model PBL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Sekolah Dasar pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode delphi dengan subjek penelitian ahli ke-SD-an, ahli berpikir kritis, dan praktisi yaitu guru. Rancangan pemnelajaran yang dikembangkan berfokus pada materi persatuan dan kesatuan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli menunjukkan bahwa rancangan kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PBL layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Sekolah Dasar khususnya pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Kata Kuci: Rancangan Pembelajaran, Model Problem Based Learning, Berpikir Kritis Students’ Critical thinking ability is very needed in the midst of many differences that individual has. In elementary school there is problem that occur because of the differences namely hostility because of mutual ridicule. That happens because students have not understand the meaning of mutual respect of the differences and they have not interpreted the values of goodness that can found in PPKn subject. Learning design has an important role to designing learning situations that would help students to improve critical thinking ability to respond many differences. But in teh reality, learning is still teacher oriented. Thar results in effort to develop students’ critical thinking ability not yet realized. The learning design is in form of a Learning Implementation Plan by applying a model that can improve students’ critical thinking ability, especially in PPKn Subject. One of the learning model that indicated able to improve students’ critical thinking ability is Problem Based Learning model. The objective of this study is to know activity design in pre-activity, while activity, and post-activity by using a PBL model to improve students’ critical thinking ability of elementary school in the PPKn subject. Research method that is used is Delphi method with research subject are elementary school expert, critical thinking expert, and teacher of elementary school. The learning design that has developed is focuses on the material of unity and integrity.Based on validation from the expert, it shows that the design of pre-activity, while activity, andpost-activity by using PBL model is suitable to be used to improve sutedents’ critical thinking ability of elementary school in the PPKn subject.
