Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa multimedia interaktif berbasis Adobe Flash CS6 pada materi huruf kapital kelas II sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan di kelas II sekolah dasar yaitu (1) Rendahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep huruf kapital khususnya dalam tulisan tegak bersambung; (2) Metode Pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran huruf kapital kurang bervariasi dan hanya berpusat pada guru; (3) Guru jarang menggunakan selain buku pada pembelajaran huruf kapital khususnya dalam tulisan tegak bersambung karena guru tidak menemukan adanya jenis media pembelajaran lain selain buku atau LKS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan D&D (Design and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket validasi ahli media dan ahli materi serta angket tanggapan guru dan siswa. Multimedia interaktif ini dapat dioperasikan melalui laptop atau komputer yang kompatibel dengan OS Windows dan dapat dioperasikan melalui handphone dengan menggunakan aplikasi pembuka file swf. Multimedia interaktif ini dapat dioperasikan oleh pengguna dimana saja dan kapan saja baik dengan bimbingan guru atau tanpa bimbingan guru. Hasil penilaian ahli diperoleh rata-rata 91,6% serta tanggapan siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 87,3% sehingga multimedia interaktif berbasis Adobe Flash CS6 materi huruf kapital kelas II sekolah dasar dikategorikan “Sangat Baik” dan layak digunakan sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran materi huruf kapital pada tulisan tegak bersambung.
This study aims to produce a multimedia product based on Adobe Flash CS6 on capital letters material for second grade of primary school. This research was motivated by the results of observations conducted in second grade of elementary school, namely (1) the lack of students’ cognition and understanding of the concept of capital letters, especially in cursive writing; (2) The learning methods used by the teacher in learning capital letters are less varied and only teacher centered; (3) Teacher rarely use learning media other than books in learning capital letters especially in cursive writing because the teacher did not find other types of learning media besides books and LKS. This study was the development research of D&D (Design and Development) with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The instrument used were media, material, and learning experts validation questionaire and questionaire responses from students. This interactive media can be operated by users anywhere and anytime either with teacher’s guidance or without teacher’s guidance. The result of the experts assessment obtained an average of 91,6% and students’ respons obtained a percentage of 87.3% with an averange value of 90. So that interactive based on Adobe Flash CS6 for capital letters material categorized as “Excellent” and proper to use as a supporting learning media for capital letter in cursive writing material.
