Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial tidak hanya memiliki dampak positif terhadap peserta didik, akan tetapi juga memiliki dampak negatif. Salah satu dampak negatif dari penggunaan sosial media yang sering terjadi pada peserta didik yaitu cyberbullying. Dalam konteks tersebut, orang tua memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dalam mencegah, menghadapi dan melawan tindakan cyberbullying, pola asuh orang tua merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan peserta didik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan cyberbullying sebagai dampak dari pola asuh orang tua yang dilakukan kepada peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan cyberbullying berdasarkan pola asuh orang tua, populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik Kelas VII berjumlah 393 orang di SMP Negeri 3 Lembang Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020, uji data menggunakan uji kelayakan, uji keterbacaan, uji ketepatan skala, uji daya pembeda, uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Analisis perbandingan dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik One Way Anova melalui aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peserta didik memiliki kecenderungan tertinggi pada aspek cyberstalking, peserta didik memiliki kecenderungan kategori sedang pada aspek flaming, harassment, denigration, impersonation, outing, dan trickery, namun memiliki kecenderungan terendah pada aspek exclusion. pola asuh yang dirasakan oleh peserta didik Kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Lembang yaitu pola asuh indifferent, tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada aspek flaming, denigration, impersonation, outing, trickery, exclussion dan cyberstalking, hanya terdapat perbedaan pada pada aspek harassment. Rekomendasi penelitian yaitu bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling dapat menggunakan rancangan layanan dasar sebagai pedoman untuk mereduksi perilaku cyberbullying peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Cyberbullying, Pola Asuh Orang Tua, Peserta Didik. The use of social media not only has a positive impact, but it also has a negative impact. One of the negative impacts that commonly occurs from the use of social media among the students is cyberbullying. In this context, parents have a strong influence in preventing, facing and resisting the cyberbullying actions because parenting is the most crucial aspect in building student’s character development. Thus, study aims to determine the comparison of cyberbullying as the impact of parenting practices among students. Study uses a quantitative approach along with the comparative method to describe the comparison of cyberbullying based on the parental parenting. In total, this study involves 393 students from VIII grade in SMP Negeri 3 Lembang batch 2019/2020. The data were collected through several tests including the feasibility test, readability test, scale accuracy test, differentiation test, validity test and reliability test. The comparation analysis were conducted with One Way Anova technique through SPSS application. The results of this study shows that the students have a highest tendency in the cyberstalking aspect, students tend to show medium tendency on flaming aspect,harassment,denigration, impersonation, outing and trickery, but they have the lowest tendency in the exclusion aspect. Parenting that is perceived by the VIII grade students in SMP Negeri 3 Lembang is indifferent parenting. There are no significant differences in the aspects of flaming, denigration, impersonation, outing, trickery, exclusion and cyberstalking except for the fact that the difference only occurs in the harassment aspect. This research is recommended for guidance and counseling teachers can use the basic service design as a guide to reduce student cyberbullying behavior.
