Abstract

Pelatihan bencana gempa merupakan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan pada peserta didik, termasuk peserta didik orang dewasa. Pendekatan pelatihan yang efektif bagi sasaran orang dewasa salahsatunya adalah andragogi. Penelitian skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas pendekatan andragogi dalam pelatihan simulasi gempa berbasis virtual reality. Pengujian efektivitas dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil pre-test dan post-test serta mengalisis persepsi peserta pelatihan terhadap kegiatan pelatihan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen (experimental research) dengan jenis pra-eksperimen (pre-experimental). Penelitian ini dilakukan di PKBM Geger Sunten dengan sasaran penelitian adalah peserta didik program kejar paket B dan paket C. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan soal pre-test dan post-test serta angket persepsi pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa: 1) Hasil angket persepsi menujukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan menilai proses pelatihan pada interval 3,5 hingga 4,7 dengan interval maksimal 5,0. 2) Hasil uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa peserta pelatihan mendapatkan peningkatan tingkat kesiapsiagaan setelah mengikuti pelatihan gempa menggunakan simulasi media virtual reality. Earthquake disaster training is an effort that can to improve preparedness for students, including adult students. An effective training approach for adults is one of andragogy. This thesis research aims to test the effectiveness of the andragogy approach in virtual reality-based earthquake simulation training. Effectiveness testing is done by comparing the results of pre-test and post-test and analyzing the perception of training participants towards training activities. The research method used was an experimental research method with a pre-experimental type. The research conducted at PKBM Geger Sunten with the target of the study being the students of the chase program package B and package C. Retrieval of research data using pre-test and post-test questions as well as training perception questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it was found that: 1) The results of the perception questionnaire showed that the training participants assessed the training process at intervals of 3.5 to 4.7 with a maximum interval of 5.0. 2). The hypothesis test results are known that trainees get an increased level of preparedness after participating in earthquake training using virtual reality media simulations.
