Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ukuran-ukuran antropometri dan ledakan pertumbuhan pada siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan dirancang dengan cross sectional method. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa SDN cisitu, SDN Tilil, SDPN Setiabudi, SD YAS, dan SDN Geger Kalong. Total keseluruhan dari lima sampel sekolah di kota bandung diambil data antropometri sebanyak 914 siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pengukuran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat ledakan pertumbuhan pada siswa SD di Kota Bandung, namun hanya terjadi pada siswa putri. Ledakan pertumbuhan terjadi pada siswa putri kisaran kelas 4 menuju kelas 5 atau umur 10-12 tahun. Dikarenakan pada perempuan mengalami masa pubertas lebih awal dari pada laki-laki yang akan memasuki masa tersebut kisaran umur 13 tahun dan disitu baru terjadinya ledakan pertumbuhan pada siswa putra. This research aims to know the measures of Anthropometry and explosive growth on elementary school students in Bandung. This research is quantitative descriptive research and designed with cross sectional method. Sample research is student SDN cisitu, SDN Tilil, SDPN Setiabudi, SD YAS 2, and SDN Geger Kalong. The overall total of five schools in the city of bandung were taken data antropometrinya there are 914 students. The overall total of five sample schools in bandung were taken as much 914 Anthropometry data of students. Instrument in this study using the method of the survey with the measurement. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that there are explosive growth on students in Bandung, but just happen to female students. Explosive growth happen to female students the range of class 4 or class 5 towards the aged 10-12 years. Because women experience puberty earlier than on men who will enter the period range of 13 years of age and there is a new occurrence of explosive growth on male students.
