Abstract

This research aims to determine whether prejudice to the government and information-seeking behavior contribute to political participation in early adults in Bandung. This research used a quantitative method, specifically analysed by using multiple linier analysis technique and conducted by 672 people in the range of 18-30 years old in Bandung. This research used Sublte and Blatant Scale to measure prejudice, information seeking behavior, and used Ellis Model Scale to measure information seeking behavior and political participation scale which constructed by researchers by using Milbrath (1965) theory.The results of this paper show that prejudice towards government did not give impact to political participation, however, information seeking behavior gave impact towards political participation
