Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran membaca khususnya pembelajaran membaca pemahaman puisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca pemahaman puisi siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Directed Reading-Thinking Activity, kemampuan membaca pemahaman puisi siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Directed Reading-Thinking Activity, peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman puisi setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Directed Reading-Thinking Activity dan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan membaca pemahaman puisi siswa SMA Negeri 15 Bandung sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Directed Reading-Thinking Activity. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain pre-test and post-test. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 15 Bandung tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 36 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan, rata-rata hasil belajar membaca pemahaman siswa kelas X MIPA 3 sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Directed Reading-Thinking Activity adalah 58,50. Sedangkan rata-rata setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Directed Reading-Thinking Activity adalah 79,54. Setelah dilakukan analisis, ada beda yang signifikan antara kemampuan membaca pemahaman puisi sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Directed reading-Thinking Activit, hal ini bisa terlihat dari hasil uji hipotesis bahwa 21,111 dan signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) o,ooo. Oleh karena itu nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) yaitu (0,000 ≤ 0,005) atau antara kurang dari 0,05. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa model pembelajaran Directed Reading-Thinking Activity bisa meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman puisi siswa kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 15 Bandung tahun ajaran 2014/2015. The purpose of this research is for knowing the ability to read poetry comperhention in students before using the Direct Reading Thinking Activity methode, increased abillity reading poetry comperhention after using Direct Reading Thingking Activity Methode and the significan differences of students reading poem comperhention before and after using Directed Reading Thinking Activity. The methode that use in this research is quasi experiment using the pretest and postest design. Data sources in this research is the students from X MIPA 3 class in SMA Negeri 15 Bandung batch 2019/2020 which numbered 36 students. Based on the result of the research that has been carried out, the everage learning outcomes reading comperhention of class X Mipa 3 before using the Direct Reading Thinking Activity learning model is 58.50 while the everage after using the Direct Reading Thinking Activity learning model is 79.54. After analyssis, there is a significant differences between the ability to red poetry comperhention before and after using the Direct Reading Thinking Activity , it can be seen from the result of the hypothesis that 22,111 and the significant (Sig. 2-tailed) 0.000. Therefore the significant value (Sig. 2-tailed) yaitu (0,000 ≤ 0,005) or between less than 0.05. this explains that the Direct Reading Thinking Activity learning model can improve the reading ability of poetry comperhention in clss X MIPA 3 SMAN 15 Bandung batch 2019/2020.
