Abstract

ABSTRAK ANALISIS STRUKTUR TEKS, KONTEKS, FUNGSI, DAN NILAI LEGENDA KAMPUNG MAHMUD SERTA PEMANFAATANNYA SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR APRESIASI SASTRA DI SMP Penelitian yang dilakukan dalam skripsi ini berupa analisis struktur teks, konteks, fungsi, dan nilai, sebuah legenda Kampung Mahmud yang terletak di Kabupaten Bandung. Alasan dilaksanakan penelitian semata-mata agar dapat mendokumentasikan dan merevitalisasi tradisi lisan berupa legenda yang berkembang di daerah setempat. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi struktur teks, konteks, fungsi, dan nilai legenda Kampung Mahmud. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode pendekatan kualitatif dan kajian tradisi lisan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, temuan hasil penelitian ini meliputi: (1) struktur teks legenda Kampung Mahmud, terdapat skema aktan dan model fungsional, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, dan tema; (2) analisis konteks, terdapat konteks budaya, konteks sosial, konteks situasi, dan konteks ideologi; (3) analisis fungsi, terdapat fungsi sebagai sistem proyeksi, sebagai sistem pengendali sosial, sebagai alat pendidikan, sebagai alat pengesahan budaya, sebagai hiburan; dan sebagai jalan agar tampak lebih superior (4) analisis nilai, terdapat nilai religius, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat atau komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Hasil analisis tersebut kemudian dimanfaatkan sebagai rancangan bahan ajar apresiasi sastra di jenjang SMP. Kata kunci: legenda, tradisi lisan, Kampung Mahmud ABSTRACT THE ANALYSIS OF TEXT STRUCTURE, CONTEXT, FUNCTION, AND VALUE OF THE LEGEND OF MAHMUD VILLAGE AND ITS USE AS TEACHING MATERIAL FOR LITERARY APPRECIATION AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL The research which is done in this thesis are the text structure analysis, context, function, and value of the legend of Mahmud Village which is located in Bandung Regency. The reason of this research was done are solely in order to document and revitalize the oral tradition in the form of legends which is developed in the local area. This research aims to explore the text structure, context, function, and value of the legend of Mahmud Village. The method used are the qualitative approach and the study of oral traditions. Based on the research which is done, the findings of this study include: (1) the text structure of the legend of Mahmud Village, there are actants schemes and functional models, characters and characterizations, settings, and themes; (2) the context analysis, there are cultural context, social context, situation context, and ideological context; (3) the function analysis, there are functions as a projection system, as a social control system, as an educational tool, as a means of cultural validation, as an entertainment; and as a way to make it superior; (4) the value analysis, there are religious values, tolerance, discipline, hard work, independence, democracy, curiosity, patriotism, respect for achievement, friendly or communicative, peaceful, like reading, caring for the environment, social concern, and being responsible. answer. The results of this analysis will be used as a design of teaching materials for literary appreciation at the junior high school level. Key words: legend, oral tradition, Mahmud Village
