Abstract

Undang - Undang Nomor 19 tahun 2003 pasal 1 menyatakan bahwa Badan Usaha Milik Negara, atau selanjutnya disebut BUMN adalah badan usaha yang seluruh atau sebagian besar modalnya dimiliki oleh negara melalui penyertaan secara langsung yang berasal dari kekayaan negara yang dipisahkan. PT Krakatau Steel merupakan salah satu BUMN yang bergerak pada industri logam dan baja. Permasalahan yang muncul pada PT Krakatau Steel adalah kerugian yang dialami oleh perusahaan tersebut selama tujuh tahun berturut - turut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kinerja keuangan PT Krakatau Steel selama periode 2012 hingga 2018 dengan mengacu pada Surat Keputusan Menteri BUMN Nomor: KEP - 100/MBU/2002 yang mencakup rasio profitabilitas, likuiditas, aktivitas, solvabilitas dan memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan kinerja keuangan PT Krakatau Steel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah laporan keuangan dan laporan tahunan PT Krakatau Steel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa selama tahun 2012 hingga 2018 kinerja keuangan PT Krakatau Steel termasuk ke dalam kategori kinerja keuangan yang kurang sehat. Predikat kinerja keuangan pada tahun 2012 dan 2013 adalah BB. Sedangkan, pada tahun 2014 hingga 2015, predikat kinerja keuangan turun menjadi B. Law Number 19 of 2003 article 1 states that State-Owned Enterprises, or herein after referred to as BUMN, are business entities which all or most of the capital is owned by the state through direct participation from the originating state assets. PT Krakatau Steel is one of the state-owned companies engaged in the metal and steel industry. The problem with PT Krakatau Steel is the losses incurred by the company for seven consecutive years. This study aims to describe the financial performance of PT Krakatau Steel for the period 2012 to 2018 with reference to the Decree of the Minister of BUMN Number: KEP - 100 / MBU / 2002 which includes the ratio of profitability, liquidity, activity, solvency and provide solutions to the financial performance problems of PT Krakatau Steel. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The datas used in this study are the financial reports and annual reports of PT Krakatau Steel. The results of this study indicate that during 2012 to 2018 the financial performance of PT Krakatau Steel was included in the unhealthy financial performance category. The predicate for financial performance in 2012 and 2013 is BB. Meanwhile, in 2014 to 2015, the predicate of financial performance fell to B.
