Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya pemelajar yang mempelajari bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri, sehingga kebutuhan bahan pembelajaran semakin banyak. Namun kebutuhan pengadaan bahan ajar dalampembelajaran BIPA masih minim, khususnya bahan ajar keterampilan membaca. Oleh sebab itu tujuan umum dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar keterampilan membaca pemahaman BIPA melalui model kompensatori interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini secara khusus adalah untuk mendeskripsikan (1) profil bahan ajar membaca pemahaman BIPA melalui model kompensatori interaktif, (2) prototipe bahan ajar membaca pemahaman BIPA melalui model kompensatori interaktif, (3) penilaian hasil produk bahan ajar membaca pemahaman BIPA melalui model kompensatori interaktif. Pada model kompensatori interaktif terdapat tiga tahapan dalam pembelajaran membaca yaitu pramembaca, kegiatan ketika membaca, dan setelah membaca. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) Dick, Carey & Carey (2015). Tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan, membuat prototipe, mengembangkan produk, dan penelitiaan berupa penilaian pakar. Berdasarkan penelitian, hasil yang diperoleh dari penilaian bahan ajar yang dilakukan pakar yaitu mendapat kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk bahan ajar membaca pemahaman BIPA melalui model kompensatori interaktif yang dikembangkan peneliti layak dan dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan pada pembelajaran BIPA. Abstract: This study is motivated by the increasing number of students in learning Indonesian Language for Foreign Speaker or Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) inside and outside the country. However, the need for teaching materials in BIPA is increasing but still limited, especially in reading material. Therefore, it leads to the general objective of this study. The general objective of this study is to develop teaching materials for reading comprehension in BIPA through the interactive compensatory model. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the profile of BIPA teaching materials for reading comprehension through an interactive compensatory model, (2) prototypes of BIPA teaching materials for reading comprehension through an interactive compensatory model, (3) feasibility test of BIPA teaching materials for reading comprehension through an interactive compensatory model. In the interactive compensatory model, there are three stages in reading. The stages are pre-reading, reading activities, and after reading. The study uses research and development (research and development) Dick, Carey & Carey (2015) as its method. The steps that are conducted in this study are analysing needs, making prototypes, developing products, and feasibility test from the experts. Based on the result that is obtained from the feasibility test by the experts, the BIPA teaching materials for reading comprehension are categorized as very valid. It can be concluded that BIPA teaching materials for reading comprehension which are developed by the researcher through the interactive compensatory model are feasible and it can be used as consideration in BIPA learning.
