Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah-masalah yang dialami siswa dalam melakukan pembelajaran bercerita. Hal tersebut meliputi siswa yang belum memiliki keterampilan bercerita yang komunikatif, siswa masih malu untuk bercerita dan tidak percaya diri menyampaikan gagasannya, siswa tidak mendapat kesempatan untuk bercerita di depan kelas, dan dunia yang menuntut bidang pendidikan agar terus menyelaraskan mutu pendidikan dengan perkembangan teknologi di dunia. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini meliputi 1) Bagaimanakah kemampuan bercerita siswa dalam pembelajaran bercerita sebelum dan sesudah penerapan Model Flipped Classroom Berbantuan Siniar? 2) Apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Flipped Classroom Berbantuan Siniar terhadap kemampuan bercerita siswa? 3) Bagaimanakah respons siswa terhadap penerapan Model Flipped Classroom berbantuan siniar dalam pembelajaran bercerita? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh dari perlakuan, yakni penerapan model flipped classroom berbantuan siniar dalam pembelajaran bercerita pada siswa kelas X SMKN 1 Cimahi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimental (experimental research) dengan jenis pre-eksperimen (pre-experimental design) tipe one group pretest-postest dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 600 orang dari siswa kelas X di SMKN 1 Cimahi semua jurusan. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 33 orang dari 1 kelas eksperimen yakni kelas X PFPT B. Teknik pengambil sampel menggunakan sampling purposive dengan memerhatikan syarat apa yang menjadi acuan dipilihnya sampel tersebut. Data diambil dengan menggunakan teknik performansi untuk pengambilan data skor pre-test post-test dan angket untuk data respons siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa; 1)ada perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil belajar tes awal dengan tes akhir yang artinya ada pengaruh penggunan model flipped classroom berbantuan siniar pada siswa kelas X PFPT B, 2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan bercerita dengan menggunakan model flipped classroom berbantuan siniar pada siswa kelas X PFPT B, 3) berdasarkan hasil data yang telah diperoleh dari angket yang diberikan kepada siswa, maka didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan rata-rata respon siswa terhadap model flipped classroom berbantuan siniar dapat dikatakan cukup baik. Persentase rata-rata hasil seluruh angket sebesar 78%. Kata kunci: Model Flipped Classroom, Media Siniar, Pembelajaran Bercerita. ABSTRACT FLIPPED CLASSROOM MODEL-ASSISTED PODCAST IN STORY LEARNING IN-CLASS X STUDENTS OF 1 CIMAHI VOCATIONAL SCHOOL Ressy Ockta Libia Rizki 1608011 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia This research is motivated by the problems experienced by students in learning to tell stories, this includes students who do not have communicative story skills, students are still shy to tell stories and are not confident in conveying their ideas, students do not have the opportunity to tell stories in front of the class, and the world which demands the education sector to continue to harmonize the quality of education with technological developments in the world. The formulation of the problems in this study are include 1) How do you use the students' ability to tell stories before and after following the application of the Siniar Assisted Flipped Class Model? 2) Is there a significant influence of the Siniar Assisted Reverse Class Model on students' storytelling abilities? 3) How do students respond to the application of the Siniar assisted Flipped Class Model in storytelling learning? Thepurpose of this study was to determine how the effect of the treatment is the application of the podcast-assisted flipped classroom model in storytelling learning in class X students of SMK 1 Cimahi. The research method used is experimental (experimental research) with the type of pre-experimental (pre-experimental design) type one group pretest-posttest and using a quantitative approach. The study population was 600 people from class X students at SMKN 1 Cimahi in all majors. Samples were taken as many as 33 people from 1 experimental class, namely class X PFPT B. The sampling technique used purposive sampling by observing what conditions were used as references for selecting the sample. Data was collected using performance techniques for data retrieval of pre-test post-test scores and questionnaires for student response data. Based on the results of the study, it was found that; 1) there is an average difference between the results of the initial test learning and the final test, which means that there is an influence of the use of the flipped classroom modelpodcast assisted in class X students of PFPT B, 2) there is a significant influence on the ability to tell using the flipped classroom modelpodcast assisted X PFPT B, 3) based on the results of the data obtained from the questionnaire given to students, the results obtained indicate that the average response of students to the flipped classroom assisted model here can be quite good.
