Abstract

Narasi menjadi salah satu strategi bahasa yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi yang lebih deskriptif dan informatif dari film. Wacana narasi dapat menjaga bobot penceritaan dan argumentasi narator. Penggunaan bahasa dalam narasi dapat menentukan gambaran dari sebuah realitas-realitas citra pada masyarakat dengan membentuk makna tertentu. Teks wacana narator dapat mengarahkan penonton untuk memahami fakta-fakta dan argumentasi yang didukung oleh konsep visual film. Hal tersebut yang menyebabkan beragam interpretasi penonton terhadap wacana dalam film ini. Penelitian terhadap teks wacana narator ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model van Dijk untuk mengungkap dan mendeskripsikan representasi realitas politik dan sosial melalui ketiga dimensi sosial dalam teks wacana narator. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan maksud untuk memahami fenomena yang terjadi dalam film Sexy Killer. Pendekatan kualitatif memusatkan perhatian pada prinsip-prinsip umum yang mendasari perwujudan sebuah makna dari gejala-gejala sosial di dalam masyarakat. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu berupa uraian deskriptif dimensi teks, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial dalam teks wacana narator yang kaitanya membentuk representasi realitas sosial dan politik dari film Sexy Killers. Narration becomes one of the language strategies used to convey more descriptive and informative of information from films. Narrative discourse can maintain the integrity of narrative and narrator’s arguments. The use of language in narration can determine the image of an image realities in society by forming certain meanings. Narrator discourse texts can direct the audience to understand the facts and arguments supported by the visual concept of the film. This has led to a variety of audience interpretations of the discourse in this film. This research on narrator discourse texts uses the approach of critical analysis of van Dijk's model to reveal and describe the representation of political and social reality through the three social dimensions in narrator discourse texts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the intention to understand the phenomena that occur in the film Sexy Killer. The qualitative approach focuses on the general principles underlying the realization of a meaning of social phenomena in society. The results of this study are in the form of descriptive descriptions of the dimensions of the text, social cognition, and social context in the narrative discourse texts, which form a representation of the social and political reality of the film Sexy Killers.
