Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh Problem-based Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kemandirian belajar berdasarkan jenjang Sekolah Menengah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi literatur. Subjek penelitian adalah hasil-hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang sudah ada di website. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria penelitian, sehingga diperoleh 17 artikel digunakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Problem-based Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan 10 artikel digunakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Problem-based Learning terhadap kemandirian belajar. Analisis data menggunakan meta analisis, berdasarkan perhitungan besaran pengaruh (effect size). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Problem-based Learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kemandirian belajar. Besar pengaruh yang diperoleh yaitu: 1. Pengaruh Problem-based Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis secara keseluruhan sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori sedang. 2. Pengaruh Problem-based Learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis berdasarkan jenjang sekolah menengah sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori sedang untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama, dan sebesar 0,84 dengan kategori sedang untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas. 3. Pengaruh Problem-based Learning terhadap kemandirian belajar secara keseluruhan sebesar 0,56 dengan kategori sedang. 4. Pengaruh Problem-based Learning terhadap kemandirian belajar berdasarkan jenjang sekolah menengah sebesar 0,65 dengan kategori sedang untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama, dan sebesar 0,51 dengan kategori sedang untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas. This study aims to determine the effect of Problem-based Learning on mathematical communication skills and self regulated learning based on the secondary school level. The research design used in this research is study literature. The research subjects are the results of previous studies on the website. The research subjects were selected based on research criteria, so that 17 articles were used to analyze the effect of Problem-based Learning on mathematical communication skills and 10 articels were used to analyze the effect of Problem-based Learning on self regulated. Data analysis using meta-analysis, based on the calculation of the effect size. Based on the research results, it is conclued that Problem-based Learning has an influence on mathematical communication skills and self regulated. The amount of influence obtained: 1. The effect of Problem-based Learning on overall mathematical communication skills is 0,74 in the moderate category. 2. The effect of Problem-based Learning on mathematical communication skills based on high scholl levels is 0,74 with the moderate category for junior high school level and 0,84 with the moderate category for senior high school level. 3. The effect of Problem-based Learning on overall self regulated is 0,56 in the moderate category. 4. The effect of Problem-based Learning on self regulated based on high scholl levels is 0,65 with the moderate category for junior high school level and 0,51 with the moderate category for senior high school level.
