Abstract

This research was motivated by an online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. The online learning and evaluation process is considered less effective, especially in the automotive chassis course. This is because the learning process only uses the lecture method by utilizing the Zoom Meeting, while evaluation activities are not sufficient only by using the Zoom Meeting media. One alternative that can be done is to use media from the internet by uploading questions to the Google Form site, which is then used as a tool in evaluating learning. This research was conducted using a research and development method with a quantitative descriptive design. The population in this study were students of the automotive concentration engineering education department, class of 2017 as well as expert lecturers in the department of mechanical engineering education, the participants involved in this study were three expert lecturers and 25 automotive students in class 2017. The instrument used in this study used a feasibility questionnaire. for evaluation tools that are judged by the validator. The Google Form evaluation tool provided to students is used to determine the difficulty level of the questions. The results of the validation sheet show the results with a percentage of 78% and fall into good criteria and can be used as an evaluation tool. The result of the difficulty level of the questions, which amounted to 30, was obtained with a difficult level of questions with 3 questions, 15 questions in medium level, and 12 questions in easy level. So it can be concluded that the evaluation tool using Google Form can be used as an alternative evaluation activity for the automotive chassis course.
