Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh hasil kajian dan pengamatan langsung di SDN Pasirwangi Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat, yang menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA masih rendah yaitu hanya 12 (34%) siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) 62, dan sisanya 23 (66%) siswa masih di bawah KKM. Demikian pula cara guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran masih belum melibatkan keaktifan siswa secara langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan penerepan pendekatan inkuiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart dengan tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Pasirwangi yang berjumlah 35 orang. Perolehan nilai siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA konsep gaya mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I , persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 69%. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 83%. Pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan kembali dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 94%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan inkuiri dalam pembelajaran IPA konsep gaya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Inkuiri, Hasil belajar This research was based on the results of the study and direct observation in SDN Pasirwangi, the result shows the learning outcomes of students in science subjects is still low at only 12 (34%) students who scored above minimum completeness criteria (62), and the remaining 23 (66%) of students are still under minimum completeness criteria. Similarly, teachers in implementing the learning method is not yet active students are directly involved in learning activities. Based on these problems, this research aims to describe the planning, implementation, and student learning outcomes in science with inquiry approaches applying. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which adapt the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart model with three cycles. The subjects were fifth grade students of SDN Pasirwang, amounting to 35 people. Grades of students learning outcomes at scinece in the subject matter of force concept are increased. In the first cycle, the percentage of students passing grade is 69%. In the second cycle has increased, with the percentage of students passing grade is 83%. The third cycle has increased again, with the percentage of students passing grade is 94%. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry approach at science learning in the subject matter of force concept style concepts can improve student learning outcomes.
