Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang timbul dikelas, diantaranya seringnya siswa tidak mengerjakan tugas ataupun PR, siswa terlihat jenuh dan mengantuk. Oleh karena itu, dalam proses pembelajaran guru harus dapat memilih metode yang tepat agar dapat membantu pencapaian peningkatan motivasi siswa. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan pendekatan ketrampilan proses.Berdasarkan hal tersebut, rumusan masalahnya yaitu bagaimanakah perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan ketrampilan proses di kelas III SD Mardi Waluya Cibinong. Pendekatan keterampilan proses merupakan pendekatan yang menekankan dalam melatih bagaimana cara memperoleh produk sains, sehingga operasional pembelajarannya selalu ada aktivitas atau bernuansa proses IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dan hasil ketuntasan belajar. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya yang ingin melanjutkan penelitian tentang pendekatan yang sama diharapkan agar dapat menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran ini pada saat proses belajar mengajar baik pada pelajaran IPA maupun mata pelajaran lain. Abstract The research is motivated by problems that arise in class condition. It can be seen from the frequent students are not chores or homework, the students looked bored and sleepy. Therefore, teachers in the learning process should be able to choose a appropriate methods to help meet the increasing student motivation. One way to approach the process skills. Based of the problem, identify the problems is how the planning, implementation and improvement of student motivation in learning science process skills approach in class III SD Mardi Waluya Cibinong. Process skills approach is an approach that emphasizes on training how to obtain a product of science, so there is always a learning operational activities or nuanced process of science. The research method used is the PTK.The research is done in two cycles where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed an increase in students' motivation and student’s evaluations. For the next researcher who wants to continue his research on the same approach is expected to be able to apply this learning approach to teaching and learning as well in science lessons and other subjects.
