Abstract

Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Abad 21, Penguasaan Konsep, Project-based learning (PjBL). This study aims to determine the increase in mastery of 21st century concepts and skills of students who have received project-based learning (PjBL) with reading infusion strategies. The research method used is a quantitative method in the form of quasi-experimental research. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study consisted of 72 students (37 male students and 35 female students) for the control class and 71 students for the experimental class (37 male students and 33 female students) in class X in one of the senior high schools. Concept mastery test instruments in the form of student descriptions and worksheets to find out the development of 21st century students' skills are the instruments used in this study. The improvement of students' mastery of concepts is known by the analysis of normalized gain (<g>) of the experimental group and the control group. The results showed that increasing mastery of 21st century concepts and skills of students in the PjBL class with the reading infusion strategy was higher than the PjBL class without the reading infusion strategy. Project-based learning (PjBL) learning with reading infusion strategies can further enhance the mastery of 21st century concepts and skills of students. Keywords: 21st Century Skills, Concept Mastery, Project-based learning (PjBL).
