Abstract
Pada saat ini kebutuhan akan tenaga kerja dengan keahlian secara pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kreatif semakin meningkat. Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka menurut pendidikan di dominasi oleh Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan menempati posisi tertinggi, yaitu sebesar 10,42%. Upaya meningkatkan jati diri lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan ditinjau dari kesiapan kerja di mana terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan dari pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan dan minat kerja yang merupakan faktor-faktor dari kesiapan kerja. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Rajapolah di mana karakteristik siswa yang diteliti terpenuhi. Penelitian ini merupakan ex-post facto disebabkan mengungkapkan data dari fenomena yang sudah berlangsung. Meninjau dari judul dan permasalahan penelitian dapat dikategorikan kepermasalahan asosiatif. Selain itu, penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan berupa penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII DPIB Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Rajapolah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah hubungan Pearson Product Moment (PPM) dan hubungan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan antara Praktik Kerja Lapangan dengan kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII DPIB Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Rajapolah pada tingkat hubungan sedang. (2) Terdapat hubungan antara minat kerja dengan kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII DPIB Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Rajapolah pada tingkat hubungan tinggi. (3) Terdapat hubungan antara Praktik Kerja Lapangan dan Minat Kerja dengan Kesiapan Kerja siswa kelas XII DPIB Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Rajapolah pada tingkat hubungan tinggi serta siswa siap bekerja di dunia usaha/dunia industri. Selain itu, hubungan yang menunjukkan paling dominan dengan kesiapan kerja adalah minat kerja. The research objective was to determine the relationship between the implementation of Field Work Practices and work interest which are factors of job readiness. The research was conducted at Rajapolah Vocational High School where the characteristics of the students studied were met. This research is an ex-post facto because it reveals data from a phenomenon that has already taken place. Judging from the title and research problems, it can be categorized as associative problems. In addition, this study will use an approach in the form of quantitative research. The study population was all students of class XII DPIB Rajapolah Vocational High School. Sampling was done by means of simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson Product Moment (PPM) relationship and multiple relationships. The results showed that (1) there was a relationship between Fieldwork Practices with the work readiness of class XII DPIB students of Rajapolah State Vocational High School at a moderate level of relationship. (2) There is a relationship between work interest and work readiness of class XII DPIB students of Rajapolah State Vocational High School at a high level of relationship. (3) There is a relationship between Field Work Practices and Work Interests with Work Readiness of class XII DPIB students of Rajapolah State Vocational High School at a high level of relationship and students are ready to work in the business world / industrial world.
