Abstract

ABSTRAK Komunikasi dan kolaborasi adalah aspek penting dalam lifelong learning, karena di masa depan seseorang membutuhkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi dalam mengemukakan pikirannya dan bekerjasama dengan orang lain. Pendidikan diharapkan berperan sebagai jembatan yang dapat menghubungkan seseorang dengan lingkungannya serta memberi bekal untuk menghadapi masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi melalui pembelajaran field trip dan virtual field trip pada materi ekosistem tentang interaksi antar komponen biotik. Data yang digunakan yaitu dua data sekunder pada penelitian serupa yang dilaksanakan pada sekolah yang sama.. Pada desain penelitian ini terdapat pre-test tentang ekosistem, selanjutnya dilakukan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran field trip tentang interaksi antar komponen biotik di taman kota Bandung dan pembelajaran virtual field trip di kelas dengan menggunakan website mengenai ekosistem hutan hujan dan ekosistem pantai, kemudian siswa diberi post-test tentang ekosistem. Partisipan sebanyak 59 siswa yaitu pada kelas X MIA di salah satu SMA di kota Bandung. Keterampilan komunikasi lisan dan kolaborasi diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif melalui observasi. Hasil rata-rata nilai keterampilan komunikasi lisan melalui observasi pada kelas field trip dan VFT kelompok siswa laki-laki berada pada kategori cukup sedangkan pada kelompok siswa perempuan kelas field trip termasuk pada kategori kurang, pada kelas VFT kelompok siswa perempuan termasuk pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil rata-rata nilai keterampilan kolaborasi melalui observasi kelompok siswa laki-laki pada kedua kelas berada pada kategori sangat baik sedangkan kelompok siswa perempuan pada kedua kelas berada pada kategori baik . Hasil persentase untuk keterampilan komunikasi tulisan abad 21 siswa secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori kurang. ABSTRACT Communication and collaboration are important aspects in lifelong learning, because a person need this skills for their future in expressing his thoughts and in collaboration with others. Education is expected to have a role as a bridge that can connect someone with their environment and provide provisions to face the future. This study aims to uncover communication and collaboration skills through learning field trips and virtual field trips on ecosystem material about interactions between biotic components. This research used two secondary data in a similar study conducted at the same school. In this research there is a pre-test, then the treatment is carried out in the form of learning field trips about interactions between biotic components in a park and virtual field trip learning in class by using a website about rainforest and coastal ecosystems, then students are given a post-test. There were 59 students in first grade one of the senior high school in Bandung as a particians. Oral communication and collaboration skills are obtained by using descriptive research methods based on observation. The result showed that male students is good enough category on oral communication skills through observation in both classes while female students from field trip class is included in the less category, and female students on the VFT class get the higher category. The result of collaboration skills through group observation of male students in both classes is highest category while the group of female students in both classes is in the good category. The finnal results of written communication skills are in the poor category.
