Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar IPA pada pembelajaran tematik kelas VI semester II. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi sebagai pendukung data di lapangan, observasi dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Pucung 3 yang terdiri dari 50 siswa. Digunakan teknik purposive sampling dalam pengambilan data dan siswa yang diteliti berjumlah 4 siswa Siswa dengan jenis kesulitannya meliputi, kurangnya minat siswa dalam mempelajari materi IPA, kurang aktifnya siswa dalam bertanya, daya ingat siswa yang rendah, dan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar IPA pada pembelajaran tematik diklasifikasikan menjadi dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal yaitu, daya ingat siswa yang rendah, daya tangkap siswa yang rendah, kurangnya keaktifan siswa, dan rendahnya minat, semangat serta motivasi belajar siswa dalam mempelajari materi IPA pada pembelajaran tematik. Kemudian faktor Dari faktor eksternal, yaitu dari lingkungan sosial dan non sosial. Pada lingkungan sosial ditemukan hasil bahwa rendahnya dukungan, motivasi serta perhatian dari orangtua terhadap siswa, guru tidak menggunakan metode dan media pembelajaran yang variatif dan menarik serta penggunaan strategi pembelajaran kurang tepat dengan materi yang akan disampaikan, dan terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran dari orangtua, guru dan sekolah. Kata kunci: Hasil, Belajar, Materi, IPA ABSTRACT This study aims to determine what factors are causing the low learning outcomes of science in thematic learning 6th grade in the second semester. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, using the technique of collecting data documentation as supporting data in the field, observation and interviews. The subjects of this study were 6^th students of Pucung 3 Elementary school consisting of 50 students. The purposive sampling technique was used in data collection and the students studied were 4 students. Students with this type of difficulty include, the lack of student interest in learning science material, the lack of active students in asking questions, low student memory, and the use of learning strategies that are not appropriate. The results showed that the factors causing the low learning outcomes of science in thematic learning are classified into two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors, namely, low student memory, low student comprehension, lack of student activity, and low interest, enthusiasm and student motivation to learn science material on thematic learning. Then factors from external factors, namely from the social and non-social environment. In the social environment it was found that the lack of support, motivation and attention from parents to students, teachers did not use varied and interesting learning methods and media and the use of learning strategies were not appropriate with the material to be delivered, and the limited learning facilities and infrastructure of parents, teachers and school.
