Abstract
Salah satu perhatian utama pada dunia pendidikan sekolah menengah kejuruan saat ini adalah kompetensi yang digunakan harus mengacu pada kualifikasi kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh industri. Oleh karena itu, butir-butir kompetensi tersebut tercermin dalam dokumen uraian pekerjaan dan persyaratan yang dibutuhkan oleh industri itu sendiri. Penelitian ini dilakukan mengingat perkembangan kebutuhan keahlian dan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia industri selalu berkembang pesat mengikuti kemajuan zaman, sehingga kompetensi yang ada di SMK harus selaras dengan kebutuhan kualifikasi kompetensi industri agar peserta didik lulusannya mampu bersaing di dunia kerja. Salah satu cara dalam memecahkan permasalah tersebut ialah dengan cara menelaah kompetensi dasar yang ada di SMK dengan kebutuhan kualifikasi kompetensi industri. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan data dokumentasi silabus pada mata pelajaran Aircraft Instrument SMK Negeri 12 Bandung dan kualifikasi kompetensi Industri untuk mata pelajaran tersebut yang dikeluarkan oleh PT. Dirgantara Indonesia pada Job Group AEI Assembly. Adapun tujuan penelitiannya adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat relevansi kompetensi keahlian atau jurusan Aircraft Electricity pada mata pelajaran Aircraft Instrument berdasarkan kualifikasi kompetensi industri dan mengetahui ada tidaknya kualfikasi kompetensi industri yang belum tercapai oleh kompetensi dasar mata pelajaran Aircraft Instrument. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengambilan data dokumentasi dan proses analisisnya yaitu dengan cara menelaah silabus mata pelajaran Aircraft Instrument lalu mengukur tingkat capaiannya dengan kualifikasi kompetensi industri. Nilai bobot atau tingkat relevansi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah dengan menggunakan metode recall & precision. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kesesuaian atau ketepatan kompetensi dasar mata pelajaran Aircraft Instrument dengan kualifikasi kompetensi industri adalah memuaskan yang ditunjukan dari nilai precisionnya yaitu sebesar 78%. Namun disisi lain terdapat beberapa kualifikasi kompetensi industri yang belum tercapai oleh kompetensi dasar mata pelajaran Aircraft Instrument. One of the main concerns in vocational high school education now day is the competence used in reference to the of competency qualification required by the industry, because the details of these competencies are reflected in the job description documents and requirements required by the industry itself. This research is done considering the development needs of skills and competencies needed by the industry is always growing rapidly following the progress of the era, thus the basic competencies that exist in SMK must be aligned with the needs of industry qualifications and for graduates’ students are able to compete in the workforce. One way to solve the problem is by studying the basic competencies that exist in SMK with the needs of industry qualifications. In this research the researcher uses the documentation data Syllabus on the Aircraft Instrument SMK Negeri 12 Bandung subject and industry qualification for the subjects of Aircraft Instrument issued by PT. Dirgantara Indonesia in the Job Group AEI Assembly. The aim of research is to know the relevance level of the competency of Aircraft Electricity on Aircraft Instrument majors based on industry qualifications and to find out whether the industry qualifications have not been achieved by the basic competencies of Aircraft Instrument subjects. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with the retrieval of documentation data and analysis process by studying Aircraft Instrument syllabus and measuring its level of achievement with industry qualification. The weight value or relevance level used in this study is to use the recall & precision method. The results of this research show that the suitability or accuracy of the basic competencies of Aircraft Instrument with industry qualification is satisfactory, which is demonstrated by the precision of 78% value. Yet on the other hand there are some industry qualifications that have not been achieved by the basic competency of Aircraft Instrument subjects.
