Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan hal terpenting yang perlu diperoleh serta diberikan oleh semua manusia. Dengan pendidikan, kualitas hidup diharapkan menjadi lebih baik. Tentunya, untuk mencapai hal itu, banyak aspek yang perlu dicapai dalam pendidikan. Salah satu pencapaian terpenting dalam pendidikan yaitu menjadi manusia berkarakter. Sebagai upaya pencapaian tersebut, perlunya penanaman nilai-nilai karakter di setiap aspek dalam pendidikan, termasuk bahan ajar. Bahan ajar merupakan bagian terpenting dari proses pembelajaran. Dengan begitu, bahan ajar mempunyai peran yang cukup penting dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter. Dari pemaparan yang telah diungkapkan, peneliti tertarik untuk membuat alternatif bahan ajar dari hasil analisis nilai-nilai karakter dalam novel karya Tere Liye dengan judul Si Anak Badai. Peneliti menggunakan metode analisis isi dengan menyesuaikan materi, aturan analisis, mengkategori, dan kriteria kredibilitas dan validitas. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan pada novel Si Anak Badai karya tere Liye, ditemukan 71 data temuan yang mengandung nilai karakter menurut Kemendiknas. Data tersebut, dengan rincian; nilai karakter religius berjumlah 20; nilai karakter jujur berjumlah 3; nilai karakter disiplin berjumlah 4; nilai karakter kerja keras berjumlah 10; nilai karakter kreatif berjumlah 1; nilai karakter mandiri berjumlah 2; nilai karakter rasa ingin tahu berjumlah 12; nilai karakter menghargai prestasi berjumlah 6; nilai karakter bersahabat/komunikatif berjumlah 8; nilai karakter cinta damai berjumlah 10; nilai karakter peduli sosial berjumlah 10, dan nilai karakter tanggung jawab berjumlah 4. Dari data hasil analisis, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa, nilai karakter yang sering muncul adalah nilai karakter religius. Kata kunci: Pendidikan, Nilai Karakter, Bahan Ajar. Education is the most important thing that needs to be obtained and provided by all humans. With education, the quality of life is expected to be better. Of course, to achieve this, many aspects need to be achieved in education. One of the most important achievements in education is becoming a human with character. As an effort to achieve this, it is necessary to instill character values in every aspect of education, including teaching materials. Teaching materials are the most important part of the learning process. That way, teaching materials have an important role in instilling character values. From the explanation that has been disclosed, the researcher is interested in making alternative teaching materials from the results of the analysis of character values in Tere Liye's novel entitled Si Anak Badai. The researcher used the content analysis method by adjusting the material, analysis rules, categorizing, and criteria for credibility and validity. Based on the analysis carried out on Tere Liye's novel Si Anak Badai, it was found that 71 data findings contained character values according to the Ministry of National Education. The data, with details; the value of religious character is 20; honest character value of 3; the value of discipline characters is 4; the hard work character value is 10; the value of creative characters is 1; the value of independent characters is 2; curiosity character values totaled 12; character values that value achievement amount to 6; the value of friendly / communicative characters is 8; the value of the peace-loving character of 10; The social care character values are 10, and the responsibility character values are 4. From the analysis result data, the researcher can conclude that the character values that often appear are the values of religious characters.
