Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan mengetahui 1) profil lulusan Departemen Administrasi Pendidikan dilihat dari lama studi, masa tunggu lulusan untuk mendapatkan perkerjaan, dan jenis pekerjaan pertama lulusan; 2) rata-rata pendapatan pertama lulusan; 3) rata-rata pengeluaran lulusan baik penunjang perkuliahan maupun pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup; 4) Payback Periode; 5) Net Present Value; dan 6) Rate of Return yang dilakukan oleh lulusan di Departemen Administrasi Pendidikan FIP UPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah lulusan tahun angkatan 2010-2014 dengan sampel sebanyak 35 lulusan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Teknik snowball. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1) rata-rata lama studi selama 8 semester, rata-rata masa tunggu lulusan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan selama 1-6 bulan, sebanyak 37% bekerja sebagai karyawanswasta, 23% sebagai tata usaha, 17% sebagai tenaga pengajar, 6% sebagai tenaga teknis, 6% sebagai pegawai pemerintah, 3% sebagai wirausahawan, dan 8% pekerjaan lainnya; 2) rata-rata pendapatan pertama lulusan sebesar Rp36.565.277,-; 3) rata-rata pengeluaran lulusan selama menyelesaikan studi S1 sebesar Rp111.355.429,-; 4) hasil perhitungan payback periode menunjukkan angka pengembalian pada 6 tahun 7,5 bulan dan tidak melebihi waktu ekonomis sehingga investasi dinyatakan fesible; 5) hasil perhitungan net present value menunjukkan hasil positif Rp178.508.595,- sehingga investasi dinyatakan feasible; dan 6) hasil perhitungan rate of return sebesar 20,84% melebihi nilai cost of capital sehingga investasi dinyatakan feasible. Kata kunci: lama studi, masa tunggu, jenis pekerjaan, pendapatan pertama, pengeluaran, payback periode, net present value, rate of reutn. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine 1) the profile of graduates from the Department of Educational Administration in terms of length of study, waiting period for graduates to get a job, and the type of first job of the graduate; 2) the average salary of graduates; 3) the average expenditure of graduates, both to support lectures and to fulfill their daily needs; 4) Payback Period; 5) Net Present Value; and 6) Rate of Return made by graduates in the Department of Educational Administration, FIP UPI. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were graduates of class 2010-2014 with a sample of 35 graduates. Sampling was done by using the snowball technique. Data were collected by means of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study are 1) the average length of study is 8 semesters, the average waiting period for graduates to get a job is 1-6 months, 37% work as private employees, 23% as administrators, 17% as teaching staff, 6% as technical personnel, 6% as government employees, 3% as entrepreneurs, and 8% as other jobs; 2) average first graduate income of IDR 36,565,277; 3) the average expenditure of graduates while completing undergraduate studies is Rp. 111,355,429; 4) the payback period calculation results show the rate of return at 6 years 7.5 months and does not exceed the economic time so that the investment is declared fesible; 5) the calculation result of the net present value shows a positive result of Rp178,508,595, so that the investment is considered feasible; and 6) the calculation result of rate of return of 20.84% exceeds the value of the cost of capital so that the investment is declared feasible.
