Abstract

ANALISIS ASESMEN TES TERTULIS KETERAMPILAN MENGINTERPRETASI DATA DAN BUKTI ILMIAH YANG DIGUNAKAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA-BIOLOGI SMP ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis asesmen tes tertulis keterampilan menginterpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah yang digunakan di SMP Negeri dan Swasta di Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan melibatkan dokumen soal Penilaian Tengah Semester (PTS) dan Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) guru IPA-Biologi di SMP Negeri dan Swasta di Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data terdiri dari rubrik analisis pokok uji di SMP dalam mengukur keterampilan menginterpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah kesesuaian soal dengan kriteria indikator, lembar validasi ahli untuk tes blueprint, dan instrumen test paralel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal-soal yang digunakan di sekolah dalam mengembangkan instrumen butir soal keterampilan menginterpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah masih rendah, soal PTS dan PAS menunjukan sebagian besar soal tidak sesuai kriteria indikator dengan persentase 95,93%. Soal yang sesuai kriteria indikator hanya terdapat pada indikator keterampilan KIDBI02 (menganalisis data, menafsirkan data dan menarik kesimpulan yang tepat). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan model soal untuk mengembangkan keterampilan menginterpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah. Pengembangan butir soal paralel yang direkomendasikan mengacu pada framework domain literasi sains PISA 2018. Tes blueprint pada penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan framework PISA domain literasi sains dan kompetensi dasar kurikulum 2013. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menjaga adanya keterkaitan materi IPA-Biologi SMP pada kurikulum 2013 dengan keterampilan menginterpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah yang dikembangkan. Kata kunci: tes tertulis, instrumen keterampilan menginterpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah, tes blueprint keterampilan menginterpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah. AN ANALYSIS OF WRITTEN TEST ASSESSMENT IN INTERPRETATION DATA SKILLS AND SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE USED IN BIOLOGY FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS This study is intended to analyze the assessment of the written test of data interpretation skill and scientific evidence in biology learning in junior high schools. The study employed a descriptive research, involving six science (biology) teachers in two junior high schools in Bandung, Indonesia. One is a public school, while the other is a private school. Data was garnered with an instrument encompassing a principal analysis rubric for junior high school. This rubric measured students’ data interpretation skill and scientific evidence. This rubric appropriated the questions with indicator criteria, expert validation sheets for blueprint test, and parallel instrument test. The results revealed that the questions used in schools in developing the instrument items of data interpretation and scientific evidence were still low. PTS and PAS questions demonstrate the inappropriateness of most questions (95.93%) with the indicator criteria. Questions that match the indicator criteria are only found in the KIDBI02 skill indicator (analyzing data, interpreting data and drawing appropriate conclusions). Thus, it is necessary to develop a question model to improve teachers’ data interpretation skill and scientific evidence. The development of recommended parallel items refers to the framework of the PISA 2018 science literacy domain. The blueprint test was adapted from the PISA science literacy domain and the basic competencies of the 2013 curriculum. This was done to maintain the linkage of science-biology materials for middle schools in the 2013 curriculum with data interpretation skills and scientific evidence.
